  After being involved in this community for awhile; getting heavily invested in the handbook and wiki; applying many parts of it to my life as well as adding much of it to my dating knowledge repertoire while seeing amazing results. After seeing post after post, comment after comment, and the way this beautiful community conducts itself like a well-oiled machine of love and encouragement, I've begun to notice something - something amazing, and really just something so incredibly special.

 

Here we are, a bunch of females, with vastly different lives coming together. Each of us has a complex life with unique quirks and personalities, specific struggles, and of course some of us (if not all) have had to deal with an extensive history of a total lack of respect or normalcy, or even a hint of a sense of decorum from many guys throughout our lives. The sheer idiocy and entitlement, spanning from offhanded creepy remarks, to guys who somehow think they have an intrinsic constitutional right to do whatever they want to us, to completely unnecessary sexual innuendos in a situation which could've been a normal and fun conversation if guys didn't only think with what's in their pants as if it were some God-given gift that can replace their shitty personality or total lack of attractiveness. And, of course, let's not forget the overwhelming amount of us who have been, in one way or another, sexually assaulted, molested, raped, and just thoroughly taken advantage of by the absolute scum of the earth.

 

Yes, it's true. It exists. Unfortunately half of the worlds population seems to have forgotten that we were given common sense for a reason. And that hey! maybe we should use it. Hm, maybe let's not be a total fuckboy that can't have a decent conversation. Hey! maybe let's show respect and show that we care. And oh, of course, how can I forget... hey! maybe I am not the center of the universe and hey! maybe I too am supposed to put in some fucking work into the relationship and not just expect the woman to do everything. and hey! maybe being kind doesn't mean I'm weak but it means I'm strong enough to be vulnerable and empathize with another human being! OH ALMOST FORGOT! annnnd hey! maybe it's not the best idea to send an unsolicited dick pic to that girl I like. Hm, maybe, just maybe she won't be immediately swept off her feet when the 975th guy slides into her to her DMs and opens a conversation with their minuscule protruding piece of flesh.

 

If only guys woke up and started acting like adults. But honestly, as we all know it, many many many guys don't have much more mental capacity than the children they sooooo convincingly pretend to want in order manipulate us into dating them (seriously come on girls, how many guys have you met that try these stupid tricks on you as a way to present themselves as though they're in the slightest form committed/altruistic). Honestly. "Hey, don't forget to do the dishes like you promised to." This is something you need to say to a 9 year old - not a grown fucking adult.

 

Aaaaand although we have to put up with this shit on a constant basis, and for some people it's daily (and oh boy if we include online interactions, it can even be multiple times a day), - despite all this we are standing strong and we have created a place where no guys can roam and talk shit, no one here to invalidate us, no one here to correct us (oh god, don't get me started how many guys do this), and no one here to bring us down. And I looooove this about FDS, it's honestly the most attractive thing about this place. We aren't affected. We are determined to rise above, to not stoop to their level, to be the HVW's that we already are! I don't mean to sound overly sappy but it's sort of a synergistic feeling watching how acutely aware this community is aware of probably the biggest issues in dating and giving each other constant encouragement to be the bigger person, constant support to be better, and all the while having a good time watching the LVM's stay behind as they continue their toxic ways. So first off, big props to all of you for being here and really making this community what it is today. I seriously love you guys :,).

 

There is so much amazing content here, and by sorting by top all time, there are so many posts I've seen that remind me of how FDS used to be. It was generally the same but if I remember correctly, (and I may be mistaken but) we have all sort of shifted from what we used to be. This is a place - as the sidebar states - where bitches be hella bonding (paraphrased). We're here for each other! Whiiich brings me to my main thought: After all the hell we've been through from dealing with pathetic guys, don't you think our focus should be primarily on us. Excuse my French, but f#&% those losers. Who needs those LVM's. We are waaaaayyy better than them. Why are so many of these recent posts and especially comments putting down the guys who are already licking mud. I don't think they deserve our attention, even if it's negative. We should be focusing on us. Looking for those HVM's... and becoming the awesome bitches that we know we can be! We have this insanely amazing supportive community and while I think all this content is amazing, seeing less posts/comments talking about guys and more about us (e.g. QUEEN SHIT and LEVEL UP flairs), is what we need. IT'S ABOUT US, NOT THEM.

 

Now, hey hey before anyone freaks out... I feel obligated to say, I looooove the memes. They're amazing. They're funny, and they 1000% add to the bonding us bitches do. That I never want to go away. Those are hilarious. However, pointing out every single instance of a fuckboy, of an insensitive narcissistic douchebag, or of any undeserving LVM ... that would take forever. It's endless. I don't see that pandemic resolving itself anytime soon (unless they were law enforcement decided to have a mandated quarantine for them indefinitely) So why focus on them all the time. We are wayyyyy more deserving of focusing on. So queens, let's rise above. Let's make more posts and comments about us, because let's face it, you are all awesome! (Yes, even you reading this! - yes you, I mean you!)

 

We have way too much combined energy and intelligence to waste it all on losers. There's a famous idea reintroduced by Stephen R. Covey about working in our circle of influence. Not focusing on what we can't control but on what we can control. That's you! No one else. Putting losers down is fun and all but I wanna see more awesome shit from all you awesome people! We are extremely supportive here and this community is fucking awesome. Let's encourage each other, and support each other more than we already are. Together with our superior empathic and communicative skills, we shouldn't even have to bat an eye twice when a deprived male comes our way. We got this! I believe in all of you awesome bitches. Keep the positivity! Level up bitches!
