So I have a male friend (he’s my friend’s husband) and him and I have gotten into a few times. He likes to claim that women and men are equally sexualized and does the typical “not all men” and “but men have to worry about being mugged” when you bring up women’s issues. Meanwhile, EVERY time we have music videos on or there’s a woman walking down the street he has to point out how sexually attractive she is. Either “she has no tits” or “yeah I was staring” type of comments. I just let them slide because there is no arguing with him.

However, I found it especially telling when we were out to dinner and he straight up said “all men sexualize women”. Oh really now? I thought NoT AlL MeN.
