I've read the handbook at length but there is something that is making me confused: HMV vs LMV. So in awful incel world, they think that a woman will sleep around and then marry someone desperate enough to be okay with it because he can't do better.

A true man who is really valued, say, wealthy, handsome, good social standing, etc, is probably not going to want to go through all these hoops of no hookups, etc, when life comes so easily to them. Then who is ending up with them? Aren't we settling then with a technically on paper lower value man who is uglier or poorer or whatever wo thinks he cannot do better who is not the level we think we can get? I doubt a man will try THIS hard to the level of FDS if he isn't 1000% sure he can't do better.

Or, is it about creating the illusion of value to make a higher value man (not HVM in FDS sense, just in life) think they can't do better than us? So confused.
