I agree with checking with the success flair. Also want to add that "success" in the terms of this sub isn't to "end up" in a relationship. I found value in learning strategies to date men / deal with men to add value to my life. To recognize that a life worth living isn't pegged to a man's valuation of my worth or fuckability or wifeability.

So sometimes, that means leaving them, or not marrying them. I have turned down two proposals in my life, diamond ring and all.

From your post history, I’m assuming you’re also an American black woman but correct me if I’m wrong. FDS goes against every struggle love story that we were spoon fed as little black girls and that’s why you should look deeper into it! We shouldn’t have to deal with the cheating, lying, side-chicks, fuckboi behavior of the black men we defend with our lives who turn around and tell us they prefer non-black women over us.

Definitely look at the FDS success flair. For me personally, this sub helped me not give a shit about dating anymore, which was a very good step for me. I was waffling on kids for about a year before I found FDS, and checking this sub almost daily for months helped me realize I actually don't want kids, marriage, or even a boyfriend, and I am A LOT happier now without this pressure of having to find someone in order to get what I want out of life.

This sub makes me want to be totally self sufficient - eveyone needs friends and family support of course, but I used to think I could only reach peak life satisfaction & happiness through a relationship. Now I see I would actually hate being in a relationship, and that what would make me most happy and successful is being self sufficient, which for me will be achieved when I am able to buy a house down south, someplace very warm, near the beach.

Learning how to stand up for yourself in dating, not being afraid to enforce boundaries even if it means the person will leave, just helps in life overall! So this sub seems to help most women in their whole life

I boast a different kind of success: I'm single, having recently ended a six-year relationship that did me a lot of harm but I held on to in part out of fear of being alone.

I'm much happier now, and focusing on my own goals rather than trying to fix something that was irreparably broken. I'm not against dating in the future, but I've got other things on my mind at the moment.

I don't consider "success" in dating limited to "has a partner." You can be single and successful too. The only way you fail is by staying with a partner who doesn't deserve you.

Definitely look through the flair, FDS Success! But, I will share my quick success story for you too :)

I was in and out of abusive relationships, was abused growing up (every form of abuse). Committed myself to growth and personal development, chose to do the hard work of working through my trauma and never settling for anything less than healthy. A lot of therapy, spiritual work, shadow work, coaching, etc.

I am now in medical school and my HVM is a Tech Executive. I pay for nothing, I am fully supported emotionally and financially. My dreams are supported, my ambitions encouraged, my needs fulfilled. Sex is fabulous! He cares about my orgasms and will not stop until I do. In other words: I am spoiled and I love it!

I implemented all of FDS practices and it is successful! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been in a successful relationship the last two years with a true HVM. I only found FDS a few months ago however I’ve always applied FDS rules to dating and so far I’ve been successful.

Agree with the comments on sub search.

If you follow the dating rules on this sub you will better your qualification criteria for finding the right men.

On the other hand, this sub and the principles espoused show you ways to be happy without men. It decenters (degraded) male desire and greed and puts your needs, safety, and wants at the forefront. Heck, it’s even in the name ;)

Got out of a bad relationship where I would have definitely dragged it on had it not been for fds. Once he showed flags, that’s was enough for me to leave. I feel so much better and relaxed. I was legit losing hair over it. So dumb.
