They learn to make mess and leave it when they're young. Watched a friend's grandson take the clingwrap off half a cake, ball it up and drop it on the counter, take a massive slice, put it on his hand, drop the knife and walk off.

It was mAgiCalLy sorted when he walked back for more an hour later. They learn fairies take care of everything and it legit prunes their neural pathways. They never have to think or imagine the labor women are performing so they become mentally lazy.

Nope, it is not common sense. Men get taught from the very start that cleaning their own mess is not their business, but that's of the women around them. Like their mother, sister, their female co-workers, girlfriend, even women who are total strangers to them.

You can expect absolutely nothing of them. I have seen this all to often myself.

A million years ago, in a retail job I used to work, there was this adorable guy coworker. He was very attractive, always well dressed (we worked at a very high end, grossly expensive store) hair always styled, cute face. I didn’t know him well, and he was like 20 years younger than me, so it’s not like I was checking him out, but that didn’t make him less pleasant to look at.

Until one day, I was in the break room at the same time that he was, and saw the inside of his coffee mug. We had enough room in the break room that people could bring their own mugs, but you had to clean it.

The inside of his mug had clearly never seen soap or the right side of a sponge. It was brown. Like I-drink-coffee-daily-and-never-wash-it Brown.

I gagged.

I could never look at him again without thinking about that nasty brown mug.

It wasn’t even totally about the mug, either. It was about the fact that he clearly made the choice to let this thing stay dirty WHERE EVERYONE COULD SEE IT.

I just imagined that his sink at home was full of dishes and roaches 24/7, and his dirty, skidmarked drawers just laying about, streak-side up, because who cares.

Ugh.

That's disgusting and I hope the boss /management gives him trouble for it. Do not fall into the trap of cleaning it up for him. It's one of the scrote shit tests, he's seeing how much he can get away with and if anyone will clean up for him.
