Joss Whedon wasn't allowed to be alone on the Buffy set with Michelle Trachtenberg ( FDS sister EveSerpent informed me below that he once was allowed to be around her alone, but wasn't any longer - EW).

And that James Marsters wrote a creepy song about her (she was on the show for 2 years when she was a teenager). Some of the lyrics: “One baby, two, maybe three more years/You’ll be a full grown girl, have all your curves/And here’s my taste of irony/You’ll be a ten-hot baby, too good for me.” 

Marsters is more than TWENTY YEARS HER SENIOR. To be clear, pickmeshas and scrotes, the song was about HER; not her character. AND IT'S WRONG EITHER WAY.
