What gets me is how did he manage to find something to correct to the author herself? Pulling it out his ass of course. This tweet proves that men lie to bring down women unprovoked. This is why there are no men in my life.

I was one of two female employees on shift at my colleges rec department one day. I was getting paid minimum wage to work at this shitty state school that I also paid to attend full-time (and whom was also getting paid by the state to teach me). Needless to say, I was less than enthusiastic about the demands of the job, which in my opinion, were considerable for a full time student and pt min wage employee who also had a 2nd job in my "real" career.

Anyway, I never volunteered to do anything outside of my standard duties (highly unlike me) and generally acted petulant when asked to do so. One day, my male boss comes in with a male coworker and a male vendor trying to sell a new game. Boss asks us "Do you want to try out this game?" Both of us said "no".

So the vendor cuts in, "Well you would be better off as cheerleaders anyway!"

Excuse the fuck out of me?

So I played. The game is similar to tennis, which I'd been playing for 15 years at that point, and I soundly beat my male coworker and boss, and almost narrowly beat the vendor.

After we were done I turned to the male vendor, "So does that mean you all get to be the cheerleaders now?"

Uncomfortable looks all around.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

I had a similar situation.

A man was arguing with how a particular work product was configured. He claimed that his way was best and I would understand that if I “read the relevant document.”

“Oh? The document that I authored?”

Also, I had an ex-boyfriend who would explain my own jokes to me, so that’s fun.
