I’m not interested in watching women be hurt for entertainment. Constantly seeing women harmed in our media is desensitizing and traumatizing.

Havent seen it but made me think of Netflix Obsession:Dark desires, a true crime series of men that have tried to kill the women they stalk. I think one of the episodes, or some other similar show i watched, told a story about a doctor that murdered his wife using excessive diabetic medication (she was not a diabetic) because he didnt want her to be preganant or something :s but he got convicted after they did an autopsy. This made me never want to date a doctor, just another thing to worry about.

When i watched Enough starring Jennifer Lopez that married an abusive policeman, it made me never want to date a guy that could use his power against me, so i stay away from policeman too.

I just binged it. I say that it focuses less on the abuse itself. Honestly, I can look at it retrospectively and be like “yeah, that’s a abuse” but the story is more about the actions following said abuse.
