My ex— “I’m not misogynistic, I love intelligent women! It just sucks that it’s so hard to find one.”

He had free tuition at the college we attended because his mother was a professor there. However, while my ex idolized his dad like a god, he always talked about his mom in such a condescending manner that eventually I asked him if he respected her intelligence. He admitted that he thinks he’s smarter than her. While possible, based on my experience knowing both of them... no. She conducted original research in order to contribute to the field of biology and he was a college freshman who thought Wakanda was a real country. 🤦‍♀️

Oh boy, this reminds me of a guy I knew who claimed he was a feminist, yet got mad at me for telling how for women it's hard to embrace sexuality because of society's slut shaming nature. He said I couldn't speak for all women because he is a doula, dated sex workers, and never had a woman saying this. (Uhh could it be that maybe some women have experienced it but just wouldn't have that type of conversation with you?!) Then went on about how I never experienced real sexism like he witnessed when he was in third world countries (OK dude), and that I use filters on my pictures because I'm insecure (lol). He basically exposed his inner scrote.
