If I found a comment like that on my future husband’s Facebook or Instagram, I would grab the heaviest frying pan I could carry and smack him over the head with it. Not kidding. Then he’d be doing dishes forever after that.

Also, even my depressed male friend who can’t work has a vegetable garden and cooks for himself with it.

I don’t know why but it annoys me to no end when people say “the wife.” It’s like she’s an object you bought at the store. I feel like husbands who call their wives “the wife” are married to women who call themselves “wifey” on social media.

“My wife” just sounds so much better and normal.

Edit: for example would people say “the daughter” or “the son”? No that sounds weird as fuck. It’s MY daughter or MY son. UGH. A wife is not an object.
