If you were a woman, you'd know what makes a man LV. You'd have personal experience with it. No woman finds herself on FDS because she's never met a LVM before in her life.

Selfishness (always takes “the biggest half”).

Unwillingness to take responsibility for his own actions (all his exes are “crazy” and nothing is his fault).

Lack of Reciprocity (expects a mountain from a woman and yet cannot produce even a half of that for her).

entitlement. my ex used to always say "i deserve x-y-z." never "i earned" something, always *deserve.

deserved to be picked up after, deserved a better pay grade at job, deserved whatever kind of sex whenever he wanted, deserved to be given head pats and cookies for spending time with his own child.

i could easily see a man being professionally successful and still having this quality.

Success can be a two-way street. You can't know immediately if it's genuine progression and ambition or using and stepping on people. Besides the obvious (he subtracts from your life), he's the opposite of high-value (this way is the easiest to explain). He's not genuine, caring, or respectful. He doesn't understand that you're a valuable human being worthy of effort and respect, and because he's not looking for a long-term partner, he doesn't see that he will get so much out of being with you, that wooing you is nothing in comparison.
