So, a few years back it was a trend on Twitter for men to swarm the mentions of attractive women's pictures just to talk about something completely different. Dead talk about sports, movies, travel, food, anything except that woman and what she was doing. The purpose was essentially to show that woman that nobody cared about her.

It's funny how in a relationship, you're told to look out for signs of your partner trying to belittle you and make you feel small, make you feel insignificant. You're told to look out because that's an early warning sign for abuse. But somehow it's not a red flag when these men do it to random women?

Call it what it is. Men try to humble women to make sure that we don't realize how valuable we truly are.
