Video shows a debate between two self-professed feminists: Roxanne Gay and Christine Hoff Sommers. Reducing them to categories (which I admit often obscure as much as they clarify), it seems that Gay is more of a 4th wave/modern feminist while Sommers, although somewhat defying categorization by wave, could be argued to be a 2nd wave feminist, though it might be more appripriate to call her an equity feminist.

Their differing perspectives on modern gender issues is incredibly enlightening. So too is the difference between the way they discuss and make their points. The video consists of a 1 hour collection of taped discussions and then 1 hour of audience questions, but you can get the gist of the video from the first 15 minutes.

The discussion between Gay and Sommers (not to mention the audience's reaction), illustrates how feminism has changed over the years.

P.S. Try not to read the youtube comments before you watch the video as they will likely color your view of the discussion.
