When I was younger and before I went to college and got really political it was a little easier to write characters because there are common stereotypes people use and then build upon character building

There's nothing even wrong with making a statement or message in your work or using characters to display that but it's getting harder nowadays because whenever you have a character fighting against something whether it be oppression or violence or whatever there is always a bad guy but real life is not like that

I used to write about a few feminists type characters One of my characters was a female Knight in a country where only men could be and she ends up becoming the first female Knight leader of our country. I'm pretty sure a lot of women can relate to it and it was your basic rags-to-riches story

But now my mind is changed on a lot of things and now I am just starting to realize how much men have been affected by sexism and bias in society and I kind of want to show that but I still want to have fun with my writing if that make sense

I still love Marvel but slowly over time I started to notice the female favoritism even in there.

I still make art but I want to ride again but it gets so hard because you want to avoid stereotyping ignorantly for both sexes and at the same time as a writer you want to use stereotypes to your advantage and play and work with them to in essence make a story.
