It without question is real. It's just as real, toxic and harmful as misogyny but unlike it's counterpart is always trivialized and treated as a joke or something that doesn't exist, when both couldn't be more wrong. It's incredibly infuriating and disturbing to see how people deny it's existence and will claim men can never be hated or discriminated against because of their gender, when that couldn't be more false. Hatred against men is something for for years and even decades by now has been normalized and upheld, and for too long has gone without action taken against it. Misandry is very real and has been allowed to fester like a malignant cancer. Misandry is a major reason boys do poorly in schools, how the courts and legal systems are infamously anti-male, why the homeless and suicide rates are overwhelmingly male, and how society still has a hard time acknowledging and helping male victims of abuse, violence, rape, homicide, etc. (especially by women). Let's not forget one of the most infamous and obvious examples of misandry's existence, the fact only men have to register for the draft and failure to do so can result in them being imprisoned. If that's not gender discrimination, I don't know what is.

One has the right to their own opinions and beliefs, but not their own facts. It's an undeniable fact misandry is real, rampant and far more of a widespread and serious issue than many realize or want to admit to. It's the other side of the same coin misogyny occupies.
