Whenever I see or hear someone saying "misogyny kills, misandry hurts feelings", I get very annoyed as there are many examples of systemic misandry killing people.

- the male suicide rate, caused by misandrist attitudes(or toxic masculinity), like "be a man", "man up", or the attitude that men can't cry. Approximately 70% of global suicides are men.

- 95% of workplace deaths are men, which comes from the misandrist attitude that society has towards men and blue collar jobs, of men being "disposable", but women not.

- Forced conscription and deaths because of war also relate to how society sees men as disposable, and how women are not disposable.

- Unrecognised female on male violence, when men under report at three times the rate that women do, because society has created the image of men abusing women due to it being documented more

- Approximately 76% of violent crime victims globally are men, which relates to disposability of men and how women are seen as not disposable, and "fragile

And when people say "it's the patriarchy", or "it's other men", I get annoyed too. That second argument is the same logic used by racist cops to justify looking over black people dying. Victims' plight should never be ignored, regardless of whether they share the same genitals as the perpetrator.
