That's a thought provoking question. Honestly I can't think of nothing but a simple life, with a decent home and a home gym and probably a gaming PC of some sort.

But I have all those things already so I don't know lol.

The only things I ever bought that weren't fulfilling a basic need where always just for entertainment or pleasure, but I have never bought something to look better than other people because personally I just don't care about that because I don't care what others think of me. The things that I spent the most money on are: a cheap 2000$ car, a very high end gaming PC that I built myself, a television (that I had bought years before), a couple blu rays of my favorite movies that were on sale, some video games during a Steam Sale or from Humble Bundle, a pair of headphones and a cellphone, and maybe at one point I will buy a laptop also but thats pretty much it. If I was making a lot of money, I would save and invest most of it and live in a cheap but comfortable apartment in a good neighborhood and I wouldnt buy a collection of luxury cars or a multi million dollar house because those resources would only make me poorer in the end. Many people who earn millions of dollars every year also spend millions of dollars and end up saving very little, often times it is because of their gold digging wife and sometimes it is because they themselves are very materialistic, but from a very young age I was taught that it's better to buy experiences like plane tickets or concert tickets than buying tons of stuff in a store that you dont even need, because the beautiful memories of those experiences stay with you forever but the stuff you bought that one time does not, in fact it loses its value over time in many cases.

A small house/cabin in the woods or by a lake, plenty of books (along with a library card), a few good guns, a good quality phonograph/stereo, a good camera or two, a good laptop, a good motorcycle or two, a Jeep, and a couple of dogs.

Oh, and a good propane grill! Can't forget the grill!

If I didn't have to worry about all the money I wasted on her, I'd have a few comfy pieces of furniture, a nice sound system, better kitchen supplies and appliances, some games, and a nice bookshelf. But hindsight is 20/20.

I only like luxury and what money buys for me, as I'm ocd about perfection and appreciate engineering and workmanship, also for the enjoyment (fast cars, decent spec pc's). I don't really buy anything to compete with others, in fact I'm quite self conscious about showing nice things I have to others like my car, I'd rather enjoy it by myself!

So definitely a nice car, classic even so I can work on it. Gaming PC. A garage with loads of tools/kit for me to build and mess around with things in peace. A guitar to chill with. Shotgun for clay pigeon. And finally a DSLR camera for photography.

It's an interesting question and one to which I have previously given thought. It ultimately resolved thusly: my greatest desire is an abscence of social expectation.

Coronavirus quarantine has affirmed this belief as accurate. I could carry on like this in perpetuity.
