24 year old MGTOW here. A lot of my boys have been sucked into the trap or in the process of it, but I stand strong. I already had blue pill bitch days... I'd rather die than go back to that.

All my money goes toward me. I'll be able to graduate with no debt and have a nice fat stack to put down for a place of my own, plus more to spend on whatever, while a lot my old friends are signing their souls away. It's a war out here.

Im 20 so I guess im young. Never had a gf in my life or a relationship in any way shape or from so I dont really have any "experience" but I always thought it was all really silly to be honest. The whole concept of monogamy is insane to me but maybe its just me...I mean I like people but in small controlled doses. I just recently discovered MGTOW though and by definition I am a MGTOW but some members might not agree with this since the whole no relationship part.

24 here. I work in Silicon Valley and this place is super blue-pill, basically making me live in social isolation. Tech companies are constantly trying to hire women and minorities and even in my project group I see how these women behave.

95% of the guys here have girlfriends/wives most of which I guarantee are only with them because we get paid absurd amounts of money. One of the guys I play tennis with was just talking about how he has to buy his wife a new engagement ring because she doesn't like it, and he's OKAY with it.

Meanwhile I've paid off my student loan and car debt already and am just saving for a house, the funny part being that I can actually afford paying a 20% down next year and the monthly payments + taxes/utilities/etc for a decent house in a decent neighborhood of Silicon Valley simply because I don't have a significant other.

I'm 23. I did and I will fuck women every now and then, but on my terms. My first priority in life is to invest in myself. I droped many bad habits, I read, I learn a new language and I hit the GYM regularly. I need to get my degree and I'll probably have a kickass job. Wish me luck.

I guess everybody here interprets this attitude somewhat differently. I am actually having the time of my life right now. Well, I hope it's not the time of my life in that later I'll be sad and lonely and disappointed.

But I am an ex-pat living in Japan. I live in an area where there are few If any other white people. I am a teacher in a school where almost the entire staff are female.

I am dating a lot and drifted to this philosophy because I just can't take women seriously as adults or at least as adult human beings. I guess I have come early in life to the realization that they are manipulative children and that if you pretend that they are anything otherwise you're just going to get screwed and not in a good way. As long as I keep my sense of humor nothing women do surprises me or saddens me.

I also found that the more I focused on myself, building my own career, building my own skills and talents, building up my body, improving my brain and intellect, that women are attracted to me but I am immune to their tricks

I'm in my 20s and have a MGTOW friend but he doesn't know about the community. I've had a few relationships all over the map and am mostly glad to be checked out. I'll still date but it's a no-strings attached, I enjoy your company, you enjoy mine deal, but dating has really lost its novelty and is on the back burner. I focus heavily on my career so I can check out ASAP and pursue my interests, which of course I still make time for now. But yeah, we're out here.

17 year old here. Mgtow for about 2 years at this point. I know for a fact there are younger Mgtows than myself but they are rare. It's especially interesting at my age to view the arms race between teens to attract girls. Especially since they don't actually have any real source of money so they are forced to be creative or constantly broke to get dates. And fucking hell it's a hilarious sight when some teen chick dates an older guy, catches an STD and then spread it. The walk of shame some people do for weeks is embarrassing for them but total hilarity for anyone paying attention to events. And I don't even have to be a nosy asshole to get these intricate details. Teens are usually stupid and release information in public without concern for who else can listen.

31 is probably not classed as young but it's definitely not grizzled greybeard status either, I've almost always been a MGTOW though I didn't have a name for it at the time. This was all mostly due to a narcissistic mother and some really dodgy female teachers at Primary School (age 6 to 13), High School (age 13 to 18) and even some dodgy lecturers at university.

I fucked a few women for a while when I was younger but never entered into a relationship, I always held out hope of finding a unicorn - though even then I kind of knew I was deluding myself and now I know that's not possible.

I generally kept my opinions to myself as I thought others may think I was crazy, broken or accused me of something.

It's immensely funny and kind of perversely satisfying as an outsider looking in, I make little predictions and bets with myself on what's going to happen next with individual relationships or with society at large.

One thing about being MGTOW that some may not have noticed yet is that it provides context and a grounding for looking at other messed up things, scams or lies related to our civilisation.

EDIT: I did try to help or warn others at various points but that just came back to bite me in the ass, so now I just watch the world burn while I entertain and enjoy myself with hobbies, interests, etc.

Edit: Realized wall of text. tl;dr: Wasted my 20's in LTR, reinforced rp truths, life is better being single. An easy going life is way better than dealing with post-modern women.

29 years old here, so probably older than most people posting. However, MGTOW was just something that grew into my personality shortly after doing PUA and an LTR. For me it was more of a progression from Beta->pua/trp->mgtow(ish)

When I was 20 years old, I was in a severe depression to the point I started seeing a therapist for suicidal ideologies. I was getting no where with women being the typical gentleman that bought flowers, tried to impress, etc. Therapy yielded no results.

Somehow, I started reading a lot of the PUA material before TRP existed (Deangelo, Mystery, John Alexander, etc). I very slowly started applying some of it, and my mind was blown. I had more success with women during the time I was living, eating, and breathing this material than my entire life. I still have some old text messages from back then, and even when I read through them, I'm impressed at myself. Within 6 months I had a long term girlfriend that I kept around for 5 years before splitting.

During that time, I started to notice things that really irked me. "You don't toss me around [during sex] like when we first met." Uh, well no shit? It's fucking exhausting, and frankly, for someone who I "love" I really don't want to treat them like a bar-whore in bed, and frankly, it's just too much work for little pay off. As much as I want to be "alpha" ALL the time, it's not who I really was at my core. I enjoy treating my partner like an equal. Ultimately I just wanted an easy-going life with a girlfriend by my side. But that is the fallacy of the situation, in that she's never by your side, only following you.

One of the things she said when we broke up was "I always felt that I loved you more than you loved me." In which I said, "Yeah, and that's the only reason we've been together so long."

So how does this lead into MGTOW? Well, after we split, of all of the "I love you to the moon, always and forever and I'm going to fix myself so we can be together again" horseshit; a month later, I'm blocked from contacting her ever again and she's in a new relationship, in which I'm deemed as a "horrible person who allowed her to destroy herself." Uh...okay lol. I literally gave up a large part of my 20's being with this girl, living paycheck to paycheck in order for us to stay afloat. Reflecting back on it: "What was the point? It's over, and you just wasted your most precious years on .....a girl? What other opportunity costs did I miss out on?"

It was that settling moment that "yes..all women really are like that." Love is only temporary, and women will never love you like you love them. Men are only a utility to them, and most of the time they don't even love you, but the "idea" of the relationship. You're just filling a role.

It was this wasted time, the realization that how I want things to be versus how they are is 100% backwards, AWALT, the fact that I enjoy just being myself, and the fact that my life is significantly better without a girlfriend that led me to just opting out.

I am thankful for TRP/PUA in that it truly has made me a better man. But ultimately, I don't have time for temporary love (once the tingles wear off in an LTR) or being a betabux provider for a girl to raise another man's kids. I don't want to constantly be thinking about how to neg, or if what a girl said was a shit test, or really play the game at all. "The juice isn't worth the squeeze."

If any of this sounds bitter over a breakup, trust me it's not at ALL. My life has gotten significantly better, and all of the things I wanted to do in a relationship (pay off house, another trip to Europe, etc) are FINALLY coming to fruition.

I haven't sworn off women entirely, but I have sworn off LTRs. I like women just like I enjoy dogs/cats, but I don't want to own one. If they are there, I will play with them, but I won't actively go out to play with one.

What's REALLY interesting to me, is that I am flat out up front with women nowadays in that I say "I will never marry you, and I won't be someone you take home to your parents/LTR you" and how completely OK most girls are with this. It's also really interesting in that just having these types of relationships satisfies my once "longing for love" heart as well. I don't consider them "plates" because I literally put zero effort/money into them.

I'm making my dreams come true, and I'll be damned if I'll ever give up that freedom again.

23 here. All of my immediate family members have been through bad relationships, and since I was youngest I experienced them second hand. I just can't understand how someone could make a commitment to dedicate their life to just one person in particular. Its like saying that your SO is better and more worth your time and effort than anyone you will ever meet.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when I went out two nights ago to the bar with one of my best childhood friends, who called me up and told me he was in town for one night, and one night only. We decided to hit up the bar downtown together, and I haven't seen him in a year and a half. How did my girlfriend handle me going out on the town with my buddy (for the first time in months myself) when I told her not to bother me? I'm a 23 year old European and have been a MGTOW for probably around a year. Never had sex or had a girlfriend. Sure, I've had crushes when I was younger, but otherwise I never really felt like I wanted to have a girlfriend, until about 1,5 years ago. However, when I found out about MGTOW, I quickly lost romantic interest in women. I'm still sexually attracted to women ofcourse, but I've never bothered to actually make any effort to get laid, as my hand can give me instant release without me having to do a shit. I might make an effort to get a fuck-buddy at some point, but not now. I will have my bachelors degree in chemical engineering in about 6 months, and will continue on to get a masters degree in applied chemistry, so I'm confident I will be able to make a good living. It was evolutionary psychology that kinda introduced me into MGTOW, and I'm still heavily interested in the evo-psych parts of the Red Pill. Also, I've experienced that mentioning the Cad/Dad dichotomy is extremely good at leaving any female with a "You're just bitter because you can't get laid" or "If you care about her sexual past, you're just insecure /jealous" argument/accusation completely silent. It's definitely the quickest way to shut down any debate/discussion about relationships and gender dynamics.

I'm 26, so I guess pretty young relatively speaking, but yea I watch a LOT of this shit happen to other guys around our age - It's all of the above: entertaining, funny, gross, and sad.

I consider myself MGTOW, but I have a varied definition of it...I'm not one of the "monks" in the community - I still date and want a relationship. The difference is all in how I go about dating, finances, relationships, and (anti) marriage. I live for and take care of myself and my friends, I don't hate women, but I don't bow to them, etc. etc. I think I am the way I am because of the handful of long-term relationships I've had, combined with the great women I have in my life. A lot of men here have been really fucked up by terrible mothers, girlfriends, wives, etc. I've had mostly positive experiences with women in general, which I think is rare, but that doesn't mean that I don't understand that they're ALL fucking goofy! (as Patrice O'Neal put it)
