Great. Cause yes, male sports attract a higher audience, therefore, they get payed more. Perhaps something is wrong among women, as you'd think they'd show more support for women's teams. Not the case it seems. But they can't just through "we want equality" at the problem. And seriously, it's even more BS because even the average woman's sports player likely makes more than people who fight war and disease, as well as help to make something like this site possible, not to mention brilliant content creators fighting for crumbs.

It's a simple case of economics. Woman's Soccer does not bring in a fraction of what Men's Soccer does. Therefore, the women cannot be paid as much as the men. The Woman's league would go broke and they would be out of a job.

As usual, they want equality, like in many other times, they tend to not understand that for you to get the same paycheck you have to do the same, in this case, I doubt the cup they play amazes not even 10% of the male counterpart. If I am not mistaking, the last time someone checked, it appears that they get paid more in comparison, because they do not get as many sponsors as the male cups.

The fact that this was accepted means the judge recognizes that it is appropriate to connect pay with the revenue the women bring in. If he didn't recognize that, then it would be tantamount to saying that women sports doesn't need to be profitable, but the men's sports not only need to be profitable, but have to give money to women. It would have turned the lack of profitability of women's sports into a legally binding entitlement from men.
