Sucks because we didn't really get a good pirate movie without an annoying feminist Mary Sue hijacking screen time. First one was tolerable, but after that it got really stupid and cartoony with how AWESOME AND AMAZING she was and how every guy wanted her.

It's how it always ends up. Guys need to "share" their action movies with some female sidekick (who gets to one-up the protagonist a few times or straight up hijack the whole plot like Mad Max). Then, eventually, they need to "reboot" the franchise and skip the foreplay altogether with a "female" version. If there's a male sidekick he'll be a complete wimp/idiot

When I was a kid (early 2000) I loved to go to cinema, watch movies with my parents. But now recent years I just feel sick when I go to see which movies are playing. Unconsciously hoping there won't be nothing to see and come to home.
