7/10 news items I read about EA are all about how their shares have devalued over another faux-pax with game marketing or micro-transactions. It has been like this since around 2012 yet they are still chugging along and releasing more soulless, uninspired AAA titles every single year.

Because the leadership and managerial ranks are filled with people who speak well, network superbly, and are presentable. Basically, they could work in most media companies, and aren't really comfortable with nerds and gamers.
