I was lucky. My mom was my fucking hero and the only positive role model I had in my life. My mom was the one who enrolled me in Muay Thai class when I was 15 and the reason I’m living in Thailand now. She was the first one to always compliment me on my appearance and encourage to get ripped and “kick ass, Buddy!”

She taught me everything I now about being a good human being, something that unfortunately can make you lose out and face more trouble in life. She fucking taught me how to drive, change my oil, my battery, and swap out a flat. She taught me a lot. While my dad was either drunk and trying to fight me/ruin my life or too hungover to even speak to me.

No, she wasn't perfect. And oh man she had a bad Irish temper and did we butt heads pretty bad once in a while. Our disagreements made our relationship stronger, I'd say.

As a 30 year old man who had to stop following his dream (temporarily) to raise my son, I owe it to her to get back into fighting an win a championship.

I miss my mother more than words could describe. She took her life June, 04 2016 and I need her now More than ever.

My buddy had this radical feminist girlfriend (his wife now, sadly), who literally told me to stop working out because I'm getting too muscular and it's repulsive. And I'm nothing special compared to proper athletes. Any sign of male strength must be crushed immediately, I guess, wimps are easier to control.

I've been going hard in the gym the last couple months. Cut 20lbs, getting that fit physique look. I took a 3 year hiatus taking care of my boys and being the single father I am it was hard to find time to hop in the gym during their newborn years. Whenever I see my mother shell compliment my weight loss but always says shit like this "Dadeh, try not to get back into it like you were when you were 18" and I always tell her "look I'd love to dedicate the two a days I used to, plan out my micros and macros like before, but I don't have that kinda time. Although it would be great to get back in that shape, it's not attainable at this point in time" she always says in response "well dadeh, if you ever want to date again, you want to make sure you can insert any reason here and take care of her" usually these examples go from being able to hug her without killing her, wipe my own ass, or not look like I'm super vain.

I always thank her for the advice and continue to hit this weight. After my divorce, my bms, I told her I'd never date again. Of course she throws me the "not all women are like the ones you've gone after, dadeh" and I just blank face her then walk away.

It's not worth discussing your goals, logic, or wants with women. Even your mother because they will detour you from whatever you want to comply with theirs instead.

Just look at any popular Pedowood male actor like Mamoa or a cover of any romance novel. The former just recently got bunch of shit from 3/10s about getting a "dad bod". He actually still looks great but for wymynz if you don't look like you're on roids 24/7 it doesn't count.

But yes I also had a girl tell me "enough with the gym, dude!". They really can't stand it when someone does it better than them. Disregard and continue being swole.

I humblebragged about benching 95 dumbells and my mom told me to do a 6-minute plank.

I think isometric exercises are a waste of time, but I did it anyway just to shrug off her gatekeeping.

I had the opportunity to see this fact myself. And to notice that even in my mother (the only woman really capable of love towards you) is very revealing. I started gym and reads some red pill books for 3 months, I was going from 58kg to 68kg for 1m80(5'11). When my mother decided to give me a surprise visit. During the whole weekend when I was doing my possible to keep my diet program, to have my breakfast (Oh yes, I grew up in a house where breakfast was absent and I discovered that at my 17 years when going on vacation in cousins) my little morning cardio with my hundred pumps everyday, I did boxing 3 times a week too. I even have an intervention group with her and my two sisters by phone to work on my training addiction . Today I reached 74kg which is not bad but far from enough. And my sister posted on her Instagram many pics off me saying "My savage brother who keeps the dog from the case away from me" and stuff like that. And some screenshots of conversation with friends to her who asked her to make the presentations. Guys stay focused. Do not wait for any woman in your life for anything. Make your own choices.

I was a nerd all throughout high school and university. At around 22 I started Muay thai and MMA. I started waking up! I was a late bloomer, chubby kid throughout my life. Next thing you know I decided to become a fucking savage. First getting my food intake right, no fast food. no chips. lost 40 lbs. Then I started training Muay Thai, I started opening up by not giving a fuck! I would always ask myself growing up. Why do women ignore me, treat me as a weakling and always aww you're nice.. Well fuck that and fuck the horse you rode into you fucking wenches!

I decided to become a savage! I'm 31 now and train 5-6 times a week. Bodybuilding/Powerlifting/MMA training/ Jumprope training. I'll deadlift 405 for reps raw easily and then start doing tuck jump burpees right after like a fucking ogre not giving a fuck what people think at the gym. Yea you look at me wench? You want to talk to me? well let me smash you tonight and use you up like the slut that you are!

I have no time for women's bullshit so lets get to the point..

My mom didn't like it when i go to bulky/fluffy. But jacked and shredded, she was completely fine with. Even with the extreme, right after a bodybuilding show she would say "stay like this"....I cannot stay that lean year round lmfao.

The truth is his mother wants him to be single forever so he can take care of her in old age.

She knows if he is muscle and attractive more doors will open for him in life and cause him to have other obligations when it's time to take care or her. I.e job, family, vibrant social life.

Long ago noticed this. I’m fit, do a bunch of sports and spend time in the gym. Every single girl I’ve ever dated goes on about how they love that about me, and every single one starts baking and cooking the most fattening crap a person can eat. Every single one gets angry when I turn it down and comment that they’re trying to make me fat and ask if they want to date a fat guy.

I have never actually understood the reasons behind it, but every single one does it.
