Thing is, once you divorce your man and a kid is involved, you basically gonna cause one of the parents to get detached. It's an emotion that I had to battle with.

Sometimes I look at my daughter and think maybe I shouldn't worry about you so much and think about starting a new family. Those kinda thoughts race through your head at times.

Any divorced father needs a 'stay-out-jail' fund to fill before paying extra. He needs an account to cover remaining child support years in case he becomes unemployed due to illness or bad economy.

Stupid woman. Child support isn't there to make things "even" or "equal" as far as income goes. Child support is there to be used on the children. So she just admitted she uses the money on herself and not for what it's intended. But that was a no-brainer anyway, they all do that.

Yeah, umm NO, the Child Support is his Legal amount and obligation he has to pay, I love how she says "I had not and have still never asked for extra money beyond what's court ordered." Ummm yeah, you just did by saying he needs to come up with more money to spend on them (the children), she is totally stupid. Never go full stupid, You want more money go fight it in court (probably can't since she unemployed), or go get a job (which should be mandatory in order to keep custody of children) to make more money so you can take care of the kid/kids better, if you cannot, then give custody of the kid/or kids to your ex-husband.. simple as that...but noooo..can't do that cause of Family court right??? Ok, just be a human being for a second, take the money out of the equation, he is just a bad fucking parent. Child support is not enough to set a kid up for success in life, and I find it disgusting how most of the people commenting here overlooked the fact that he “didn’t bring them clothes for cold weather”, “doesn’t take care of them when sick when he has them”, and possibly the most disgusting part, that the kids have to get involved and realize their dad doesn’t actually love them. This is just gross. Grow a heart and get over yourselves.
