Harems are already here and present in all of society. It was already happening before tinder style apps but now it is basically the "everybody knows" but no one talks about it normal. I predict in a few decades marriage will cease to exist. It is true, although it is pitiful.
The only reason we were allowed to have this security, comfort and happiness was because men put bros before hoes to create the one women per man system.

Agreed. In the end I don't think it will matter much for us. Society has enough momentum to get us through our natural life.
Like I said regression to the mean. Its only been a couple thousand years out of hundreds of thousands where clubbing your competitor over the head and raping his women was not normal. Its gonna be a brutal swing before civilization comes back to where it is now.
I truly believe if humanity survives 10,000 more years this era will be written about as the first golden age of humanity. That's exactly why monogamy was instituted into our culture. When we were still monkeys, males would create and guard harems of females. It's how we evolved for hundreds of thousands of years. Harems work fine in nature, but in this artificial human construct known as civilization they absolutely do not.
It's just as you say. Women are beginning to gravitate back towards their "natural" state of forming harems around the most powerful men. For all the civilization and social constructs we put on top of it, our sexual interaction and mating strategies are basically those of beasts. It's easy to see a male lion with his harem and note that he's sexing everyone up, and people point out how the male lion isn't loyal. I think this is where unchecked female instinct will lead us. I lost my wife to breast cancer when I was 49. Before she passed she told me she wanted me to move on. I replied who wants an out of shape, balding almost 50 year old nerd.
