Reading up a bit on the Jian Ghomeshi trial in Toronto, seeing articles like http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/feb/05/jian-ghomeshi-trial-toronto-lucy-decoutere-testimony-alleged-assault got me thinking.

If a woman says you raped her after what you think is consensual sex, exactly how do you prove her wrong?

You can get all the consent you want before, during or after the act; the problem is that the woman can always "take it back".

You got consent before the act, even though she's fully alert ( i.e. not drunk )? She can say she changed her mind later, or she didn't expect you to be that rough. Or she can say you intimated her in her mind and she didn't dare to say no. Or she can say you manipulated her to say yes.

The woman was co-operating and not resisting during the act? well, she says she did resist, but you didn't stop. Why didn't she resist harder, well ... , she was afraid, so she kept letting you violate her.

After the act, she says, "that was great, let's do it more often." ? Well, she only said that because she was in a very traumatic state after rape. She didn't know what to say, so she automatically said "it was great". Why did she invite you to sex later? Well, she was trying to "catch you in the act" this time so she can report you!

In this age, where women's feeling trumps absolutely everything else. There is absolute nothing stopping women from accusing you of rape.
