It's annoying not being able to say what you really want and being held hostage by some tripe voting system, you need to tip toe around how you think you're going to be perceived before hand, disgusting. It's not normal. I should be able to call you a cunt and you call me a cunt in return and people should be allowed to say anything no matter how dissenting or "offensive" because you will always have the power to be just as crude in return. It's open, it's honest, there's no deception involved, no manipulation of feelings.

The issue is that people that say "hate speech" or saying something "not nice" creates avenues towards violence. Well not really, violence is created when people brood on things and hold back their true feelings, it builds up with no outlet to voice what they want and then people snap because they get fed up.

Being an asshole isn't a good way to make friends but it's important to allow people to be assholes because it promotes being open and honest from your own personal perspective, no one else knows what it's like to be "You" and they don't want to know, they want you to get in line be someone that is easy to label.

This is why now i just run my mouth. It's the same everywhere, Reddit, Quora or even news agency comment sections where moderation instantly corrects you as being inflammatory, derogatory or what ever they deem your response to be, you get muted, deleted and pushed away if you're not being PC. At least in person, a gag cannot be put over my mouth and I'm free to speak my mind and takes a lot of effort to remove me without causing a scene. Online is different, if they want to shut you down they just press a single button to make you invisible and algorithms to make sure your opinions are never indexed on google.
