This is happening within media/tv where companies have a diversity quota to hit. What you end up with is skilled people being overlooked because they're white. Happened to me in some of the biggest media companies, shocking who gets hired

I'm going to be honest here, people really underestinate what it's like nowadays being a caucasion guy. I've looked through the CBC Kids site, and I couldn't find this.

Eventually, I ended up looking through the responses in the "Contact Us" section of the "Parent" site, and that's where I found a reference to this job posting, dated "2 years old". (So it could be anywhere between [2 years - 3 years[ ago.)

This is an old repost. Additionally, it is unclear whether or not this was ever even written in an actual job posting, since even the comment in the "Contact Us" section didn't have an archive link, and merely mentioned it. For all we know, this is an entirely doctored image made years ago.

The smile logo above is no longer the same as the one used on the site. The title of the branch company is no longer even the same, it's now "CBC Kids". Let's keep a critical mind before accepting this post as an accurate depiction of objective reality.

The best part is that Caucasian is only a specific type of "white". If someone went in there saying they were Slavic, Islantic, or Nordic, they couldn't say shit about it.

I don’t think this is racism. It’s a preference. That being said, it def ain’t racist to not have any black/women actors, which is pushing this bullshit.

It’s simple math. 10 people go for a movie role. 7 white men, 1 black man, 1 white women, 1 Indian woman. Apparently it’s racist for the white guys to get this gig despite having a 70 percent chance of getting picked.
