Well count me a weirdo but I find picking apples cheap and fun. Used to do this a lot with my son and his friends when they were little. SO never came, but binge watched TV instead.

The point being anything that is forced upon you absolutely sucks. If I ever feel lonely all I have to do is remember how I felt being married for a quick fix on that score. Plus being alone is usually awesome. I can go days without talking to anyone and feel great.

I've spent my whole life never being sure how to feel. Positive emotions are powerful and overwhelming, negative ones come easier but are poisonous. With just about everyone connected to the internet you can find people and conversation all hours of the day. So you're never truly alone unless you're really alone without an internet connected device which I'm guessing is an exceedingly smaller number of people.
