I had a girl do this to me when I was 16 and a half (bringing it back). I knew this chick through friends but she never would even look at me. There was something hot about her but I hated her. She was so unattainable like she went out of her way to not acknowledge me.

Then she heard me talking about my girlfriend. (Ugh, ex... just saying that makes me queezy). She became very interested and we started hanging out. I didn’t think about it too much bc I was “taken” and had a lot of friends.

So this chick starts inquiring about my relationship (I’m starting to hate this story with these words I’m using). I tell her it’s going really well. She focused on the problems, said I need to break up with her like “ugh why is she calling you?”

So here I am. A young dumb fuck. God this story sucks. I stayed with my girlfriend for a couple more months and broke up for other reasons but right when I told that new chick I was free, her face dropped. Not like she was surprised, but like her smile died and the stars left her eyes. She said I was terrible but still wanted to hang out. She said it was cool bc now we could be best friends. I don’t think this story really relates as much as I thought but it has been written.
