This statistic would be different if women didn't have a buffer to protect them from the harsh reality of financial disaster. They have either the state, paid for by you and I, or some thirsty simp who will pay for a warm hole. Thus, rarely are they allowed to fall to rock bottom. In other words, they're basically saying women are pretty little princesses that don't deserve to be homeless but men do. A better one would have saying 1 out of X homeless are children, because children can't help it. A fucking grown ass woman can. I guarantee you some delusional editor for that paper wrote that shit. "Oh god how could we ever let any women become homeless??! Even though the majority of homeless are men we need to do whatever we can to halp teh wahmanz" Fucking 3rd wave feminism and crackpot journalism. They pump their articles with a bunch of statistics and numbers (which I don't dispute) as if that legitimatizes the fact they're saying that we should be MORE concerned about the 1/4 of homeless people solely based on gender instead of all of them. Something to note as well is that homeless women have WAAAAY better shelter options and accommodations along with programs to help get them back into society versus what men have. I know this because I used to do a lot of volunteering for the homeless at my local shelter and soup kitchen and those times are part of what shaped my current worldview, in addition to seeing friends' lives destroyed by women and how women nonchalantly parade their pussy pass on social media, expecting no repercussion from the magnifying glass of society. I bet the person writing the article never once did anything noteworthy to help out the homeless, man or woman, outside of write some article to pad their ego under the guise of "increasing awareness". I can't wait for the 3rd wave to come crashing in on itself due to the inability to support it's own logic. I have had discussions with female coworkers at work and have told them "you know you have it great as female in society, right?" to which ALL of them have agreed. At least those are the very few women that can AT LEAST admit to the stacked nature of their very existence. God knows what they do with that knowledge. Thankfully I'll never have to be at the end of that stick, romantically speaking. I keep them all at a very far distance at work and remain professional. You wouldn't believe the countless times they've attempted to sucker me into dirty jokes and innuendo to which I've met with cold, calculating indifference. They probably think I'm an autistic buzzkill by now but at least I don't have to worry about any of them plotting against me. This is the world men like me live in now.

This is an excellent way of demonstrating the perceived worth of the sexes. Yeah, I'm sure you cute try to work out how much money men are will to spend on women vs women on men vs men on men and women on women. But that doesn't get to the true value.

This illustrated that society sees 1 woman as the worth of more than 3 men. If you go with occupational hazards or the willingness to sacrifice men at war the numbers are probably closer to 1 woman to 100 men.

Ehhh, the image may have been taken out of context. It's known that although women are 25% of the homeless population, they get purportionally less resources than the men. So the article is probably trying to raise awareness of that discrepancy. Similarly to how some organizations are trying to raise awareness for male victims of sexual abuse/violence, which make up 1/6 of victims but are often overlooked like homeless women.
