Ok, why do some people here want abortion banned? If it gets banned countrywide there're just going to be more single moms and/or unwanted babies. Sluts are gonna be sluts. But at least there won't be a new life born into a troubled household.
[–]StyleandSpeed14 points15 points16 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Yea I'm conflicted on this one also. As much as I hate abortion, banning it will just make even more state dependent whores.
We know they can't keep their legs shut, you think they'll think twice before having sex? Nope.
Im hoping it'll at least make them take safe sex more seriously. But who knows.
[–]hrm089417 points18 points19 points 7 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
banning it will just make even more state dependent whores.
If there were consequences for being a whore you'd see a lot less promiscuous women in society. Women would think twice about letting an abusive/loser Chad or Tyrone bust inside of them since there would be no easy way out of their grave decision. Not to mention if she has a baby there would be less time for whoring around, thus a reduction in STD spreading.
Most men, even bluepilled, avoid women with babies. Even women know this which is why they go to great lengths to secure a betabux. A man will have no excuse for his miserable existence if he decides to wife up a single mom.
Also single mothers are products of their own poor decision making genetics. Those genetics from the female should not be passed down with a respectable man's.
Edit:
We know they can't keep their legs shut,
They can't keep their legs shut because they know there are no consequences.
Before #metoo us men did not have to worry about interacting with women. But now we see how interacting with them can lead to false rape accusations, or other deceitful lies that will lead to us getting fucked. If women knew there were consequences for sleeping around most would stop.
[–]921ninja3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
But when you punish promiscuity by banning abortions the children also get screwed over. Just let people do whatever the fuck they want with thier bodies. If you don't like it you can judge them and refuse to interact with them.
[–]KleinLust1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
If it was only their bodies, you'd be right.
2 bodies enter an abortion clinic. One just happen to be inside the other.

This needs to be said more. Sucks for the potential kid, but let's be honest here. Most oops pregnancies are done by girls/women that shouldn't be mom's.
Not to mention the increase in welfare by the government, that comes out of our taxes.

As you rightly point out, female nature is the root problem. Abortion is nothing more than the manifestation of that.
As hrm0894 states below, the issue is a lack of consequences. That a child is killed or that it grows up as a mistake is a burden borne by the child and not by the mother.
[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm pro-life personally, but I'd rather them just not be paid for with other people's money. Remove the insurance coverage, remove any government subsidies (funding PP, for example), and let it solve itself. If people want to donate willingly to help others with it, fine by me. Using tax dollars to do it is ridiculous, and causing others insurance rates to increase because of an operation that is rarely due to necessity (they do exist, I've got nothing against those) is plain stupid.

In a realistic sense, things like IUD's, implants, depo shots. Or even contraceptive combinations have failure rates that are extremely minimal. Even if you count the extremely low rates of contraceptive failure they have no relationship to the abortion rate.

Just sterilize them after they have 2. You can't even classify that as eugenics since mother and father both are replaced.
[–]fmanly6 points7 points8 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Honestly, the whole abortion debate would go away if we just sterilized everybody at age 10, using a reversible procedure.
Even if all you made them do is have both parents show up, pay $25, and fill out some forms to get a free temporary reversal you'd probably eliminate 80% of the single mothers out there, and the reduction in the prison population would eventually pay for the surgeries ten times over.
[–]bringit20120 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I’ve never heard of this reversible procedure. Can you explain it more or leave a link so I can read up on it?
[–]fmanly0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I believe some exist, but honestly I haven't read up much on them, and for all I know they don't exist. I'm all for coming up with one. Or we could just make it permanent and pay for IVF - probably still cheaper than the costs of single mothers...
[–]bringit20121 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I don’t disagree, the cost of an unwanted child is severely undervalued. And it’s sad to see so many bright futures tainted by the responsibility that is raising an unexpected child.
[–]GertrudeMcGraw0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Our society really needs to shift the narrative around abortion. If you're too young, living a chaotic lifestyle, not in a stable relationship with a stable provider, and also lack some marketable skills yourself (just in case) then the responsible course of action should be an abortion. We all know the stats on kids from unstable single mother homes, and yet we wilfully ignore them.
Financial abortion should also be implemented to help women make the right choice in these situations. Nothing demonstrates that a father is a poor choice to procreate with like him telling you that out loud.
What about abstinence, moral campaigners say? Folks have been fucking since the dawn of time, and you're not going to stop them. It's just that before, abortion wasn't an option. We can do it safely now, and most women don't actually regret it. If society didn't guilt trip women about it, fewer would regret it.
Eric Cartman said it best, "Rich white girls get abortions" - Matt Stone and Trey Parker knew just how right they were when they wrote that line!
[–]Matacks6070 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm fine with that. I just think only teenagers should be allowed to get abortions. When teenagers are having sex their hormones are just off the charts. And they're really dumb by default. These young years are crucial to the rest of their lives. Many will be going to college working on their educations.. etc. . perhaps a get out of pregnancy free card is warranted for dumb teenagers.
But for some women in mid 20's. Screw her if she wants an abortion.. no you can have the kid and give it up for adoption if you want. There is no excuse to handle these older women with kid gloves. She can be held accountable like an adult for her bad decisions.

[–]FaitBonFaitBon13 points14 points15 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I don't think MGTOW necessarily means pro-life.
Hell, I personally lean libertarian. Going your own way means having the freedom to make your own decisions.
I don't want an authoritarian government telling me what's what.
[–]Mein_Name_ist_Jeff1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
You can still be libertarian and against the killing of a baby in the womb because libertarians follow the non-aggression principle.
It would be like saying "I'm in favour of allowing people to be free to murder because I'm libertarian"
Now perhaps you don't think that killing the human organism during early stages of pregnancy is morallly bad, however in the UK abortion is allowed at the 24 week of pregnancy. I don't see how people could possibly think this is ok. There is a little girl who is alive today who was born at 21 weeks and 4 days and by UK law she could have been killed while inside the womb, but outside the womb people would rightly be absolutely horrified by this. https://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/08/health/premature-baby-21-weeks-survivor-profile/index.html
[–]FaitBonFaitBon1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Libertarians can certainly go either way with this one; it's a complex and nuanced issue.
Personally, i'm opposed to abortion, but I still think it should be legal.
I don't think that my opinions/conclusions should be legislatively forced onto everyone else.

If Roe v Wade is overturned, states will then be allowed to make abortion laws. Some states might pass an abortion ban with exceptions for rape and incest. If you think false rape accusations are bad now, just imagine how it would get under this type of legislation.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Keep the abortions. We don't need more babies with ungrateful mothers.
What we do need is a program that will give credit to women for getting their tubes tied. The younger they are and the less amount of children, the higher the payout (lets say age 18, no kids). The older a woman gets and if she has children, the lower the payout. Getting the tubes tied should be free regardless. Protect the process with making it discreet.
Could you imagine all of the young thots getting their tubes tied straight out of high school to pay off for a vacation to Cancun? Totally worth it. Tax payers would save on money in not supporting so many children.
I thought I saw somewhere there is a prison program offered to women to reduce their sentences if they agree to get the procedure done.
[–]DatDustDoe3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Or we could just stop stealing people's money to support their bad habits. Watch that demure attitude come back real fast when tweens start seeing people frozen in the gutter from their poor choices.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
You mean like don't give tax breaks for having children? I think that would work actually.
[–]DatDustDoe1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
No tax breaks, no free food, medical, and housing for mom (negotiable, can occur under certain conditions), and revised child support laws and collection/distribution methods. We could lower taxes or at least spend that money on something useful instead.
I agree. I think one of the negotiable terms for more leniency in receiving benefits should be getting their tubes tied. Stop the pregnancies from happening. I know most won't go for it, but then tax payers won't have to pay for them in that case. Those who do go for it have guaranteed they are not going to overload the system with dependent children for 18 years.
I'm just wondering how... can it be sold that getting tubes tied helps women defeat The Wall. Now, I know this isn't true as The Wall takes no prisoners, but it would be interesting to see how many would try to avert The Wall with the procedure.
I am seeing too many women after meeting The Wall saying "I'm ready for children naaaoooow."
[–]DatDustDoe1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Fair enough. I really don't have a problem with responsible people having kids. I have heard of some state policies where gov't support is limited to a certain number of children.
I'll playing Devils advocate here. As for selling it, start spreading the truth that having kids changes the shape of the vagina. Maybe do some Faces of Meth style campaign of women before and after children.

True. I think this is correct for the majority. I think a minuscule percentage of women would actually do it of free will. I think women caught up in a situation like criminals serving time in jail, drug rehabilitation, and those going under surgeries could be convinced to do it.
[–]Camp_KillYourself0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I agree with you tho if they can get it done they should the last thing we need is more single moms and their sons that don’t know how to be men and are much more likely to commit crime, go to jail, get involved in drugs
[–]wisdomo0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I like the sentiment. STDs would explode. Antibiotics would soon be obsolete.
[–]roy282820 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
We need consequences for being a slut. It will reduce the unprotected sex and number of sluts if they have to pay for their choices.
If consequence can be given to the slut where others are not paying [as much] for it and a child is not suffering, I am for it. For instance, if the abortion was paired with the tube-tie operation, I think that would save the tax payers a lot of money.
I would say limited tax relief for mothers who don't have their tubes tied. They can get better tax relief from their children if they get the operation, ensuring that they won't be making more children to burden the system. Another stipulation is that you can only claim one child for tax relief. No point in rewarding parents for having more than one child if they cannot afford it.
Eventually, this is going to lead to the poorest of people not having children or having a limited cap. I believe the wealthier middle class and up should have more children than the poorer classes. More low end jobs will be in demand and since there will be less people to fill it, they will have to come up with incentives for people to work for them.

Instead of entirely abolishing abortion, it would be better to give men the right to paper abortion. Basically, he should be allowed to denounce his parental rights in exchange for no child support. It will be fair on both sides.
[–]ajoeviola5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Just to clarify for everyone here - even if SCOTUS reversed/overruled Roe v Wade (extremely unlikely) that’s not banning abortion. It just means it no longer federally protected. The issue gets kicked back down to the states to decide their own policy on abortion.
And yes, abortion is evil. In 100 years it’s going to be looked at the same we look at slavery now. Pure evil with a body count we can only imagine
[–]cfuse7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
And yes, abortion is evil.
Only in instances where it is being used as birth control.
Abortion has valid medical applications, and that fact cannot be allowed to get lost in the discussion about how women also use it electively to clean up their sexual mistakes.
Furthermore, there are edge cases (such as with Down's Syndrome) and there always will be of some sort with abortion. I seriously doubt that the majority of tradcons that are pro-life would be quite so pro-life if doctors discovered prenatal testing that showed if the child would grow up to be a paedophile. That scenario is far less far fetched than it initially sounds.
We will always have to deal with abortion in some capacity, both legitimately as a medical procedure, and because prohibition doesn't work.
Can't possibly imagine.

great, more single mothers. no abortions, they will still pop out retarded kids to get government support and because they don't have the foresight to make a better decision. have abortions, women think sex has no consequences and will fuck 80 guys a month because any baby they have can easily be killed. it's a lose-lose situation.
[–]CeleritySteam2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Thots are the biggest argument for pro choice for the simple reason it's a man who will be subsidizing that thot and be stuck paying for it. If killing a group of cells frees said man from years of slavery most men would very happily do it.
Thots will be thots regardless, if they can't take out the kid very early it will just be another welfare burden.

Here's something interesting to ponder. Almost all of women's behavior and reaction to politics is based on their vaginas. I'm serious. The only issues they seem to care about are abortion, access to birth control, funding for childcare, and sexual harassment/assault/rape and so on. When is the last time you saw a big, grassroots reaction by women to tax policy? Or farm subsidies? Or foreign affairs?
They think with their vaginas. They really do. If it's not related to sex, birth or children, they don't care. It's incredible that they're taken seriously at all.
True af
