old physics graduate who became a statistician for industry (risk metrics) here, so i know my shit.

there is actually loads of interesting maths when it comes to dating/relationships from "optimal stopping theory" to supply/demand characteristics.

remember that in dating/partnering supply is approximately exactly equal to demand, for every sole man there is a sole woman.

the only possible way for women to have a "flood of offers" compared to men as a whole is for people of different age rages to pursue the same target.

e.g so women under 30 can have a choice from all men from 16-60 (there are lots more men in that group than women under 30) however women over 30 consequently have nobody to choose from.

THIS FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLE EXPLAINS SOCIETY. women have all this choice and demand in youth SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE they are ignored later in life, it is MATHMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for it to be anyother way with a spike in demand.

Early demand always leads to later lack of demand in equal populations.

I studied math in my school days. While I don't remember a thing, I loved the aesthetics of problem solving and proofs at the time, and it's been pretty good to me as far as the job market goes.

Like anything else, women find a way to get involved though. I knew a girl who asked for a tutoring session for her algebra class, but it became obvious she understood the material. When we were wrapping up, she offered to pay me with a blowjob. I said no because she was in a relationship and I was friends with her boyfriend. I found out later she cheated on every guy she ever dated and even had a husband for a few months!

So geeks will get "Chad" opportunities as well, as long as the woman sees sufficient drama/utility for her needs. Yeah, this story has nothing to do with your question - I had to fit it in somewhere so my apologies.

I left academia and never looked back, it had become unbearable.

It is not without reason that the most egregious violations of our rights happen in universities. The combination of toxic culture, immature students, stress, political agenda and feminist indoctrination is turning people into their worst.

For every fucking grant application, you have to write a diversity statement. Want to do research in theoretical quantum mechanics ?-> you need to show how your work will benefit women in order to get money.

Want a faculty position: Send in a diversity statement with your job application, they won't consider you if you don't convince them that it is in the best interest of women and minorities to hire you.

Other things that I don't miss:

Human rights violations under the name of Title IX, we don't need to talk about that here.
Biased anti-harassment training.
Administrators that are allowed to run their own private crusade against males.
Affirmative action. Unis keep quiet about this, because they don't want you to know that they have reduced the requirements for certain groups to less than zero. If you have the right skin color and the right genitals, uni is not only free, your career is guaranteed. Just google pictures for 'admitted to all ivy league universities' (and these are still good students, you cannot imagine what is going on at 2nd tier universities)
Gender has become much more important than qualification. Uni is overflowing with affirmative action hires.
People spewing racist hate like Piper Harron are considered normal
Slutty students trying to get favors or a chance to blackmail you
Permanent anti-male sentiment
Antifa groups that beat up political opponents. It is no surprise that during the Cultural Revolution many profs were beaten to death by their radicalized students.
Kafkaesque secret courts, you can be accused anonymously, and will never learn the name of your accuser, yet they can make you apologize in public without telling you what you are accused of.
Very few people who ever held a real job, everyone is completely out of touch with reality.
Elitism
All departments are getting subverted by the SJW crowd. Most science departments are now hiring science faculty that have no experience or degrees in science! If you are a math prof, there is a big chance you'll have a math prof in your department that has no math or science degree, but gender studies. Yes, you can become a math prof with a degree in gender studies.
Nearly everyone is completely blue pilled
People live in a liberal filter bubble, you never see other opinions
Academia is a magnet for losers, the immature, and people with mental issues
Women are extremely aggressive and paranoid. No way to have a normal work relationship with a female colleague. You have to be careful of the most trivial things, like holding open the door for someone can get you accused of sexual harassment ('making someone feel uncomfortable')
Everything is politics. There is politics in corporations as well, but in the end you have to sell a product or your company goes bankrupt. Not so in universities.

Industry is so much better. In general women don't like industry, because the benefits are not as good and people are expected to work. But make no mistake, the SJWs are in the process of taking over industry as well. It is just a question of time.

I was a double major in college and math was one of my two majors. My last math class was pure theory with no numbers. It was basically: 'this is how math works and how it was discovered.' Let me tell you, math without numbers is hard! I took a class in logic that was jointly taught between the math and philosophy departments. That class was invaluable to teach deductive thinking and formulating arguments and proofs. Pretty heady stuff.

I believe Reality is broken not just women, and so yeah you're right Mathematics is an excellent way out of this vanilla "experience" if you can even call it that, of Existence.

Computer science grad here, won some awards in AI and who also excelled at post grad mathematics before deciding to exit the bluepill university environment.

I'm living on welfare now and spend my days exploring my personal configuration space and living in the world of forms. I.e Experimenting with brahmacharya, keto and training to get into the deepest of flow imaginable then spend my days coding math.

I personally don't see what else there is to do once you've killed your ego, apart from these two things...... I also feel like I'm floating watching a movie (which is basically what it is.... a hologram created by our mind) when I'm basically doing anything else and so I don't understand the people here when they get so upset and angry at their "problems". They can just wake up and leave the problems behind if they wish.

Hey yeah! I am! Well, my PhD is in Applied Mathematics, my research is in Numerical Analysis - bascially the understanding of all levels of errors that arise when trying to convert math problems to something a computer can crunch away at, and trying to exploit certain properties of said errors.

I'll just say that there have been a few relationships in my life that were on track for derailing my research... needy, needy girls... but perhaps that's behind me now. Heck, looking back, even during my hot streaks of casual encounters my concentration waned... Things have been noticeably clearer for the last half year, so I'm gonna run with this for a while.

I did engineering in uni and I loved the pure maths courses.

I remember I did a condensed course between semesters one year. It's all I had to focus on for about six weeks. It was bliss.

I'm no math whiz but I do a lot of long and extremely long range precision shooting which requires math, does that count? I find a most women and liberal scum are repulsed by technical things in general. Like I mentioned earlier I do precision shooting and I have done so for the last 15 years, I cannot name a single time I've met another shooter like myself that was female. Guns are cool and they attract people including women but long range precision shooting is a math full and technical skill, they just don't have the brains for it.

What I've always loved about maths is that it's about taking shortcuts if you know a quick and neat way to solve a problem, and at the end of it all, you're either right or you're not. No grey areas, no waffling on or dribbling dialogue, just neat, concise solutions.

Physicst here, most of the men working in the field around me are not married, except the very old ones of course. Only one guy in the group with a long term relationship, he had to give up a very good position at a very respected overseas university doing his dream research there for his girlfriend.

I think only reason men were able to advance physics is the lack of females around, and the few cunts who happen to be in the field are all NOT females. They look more male than female.

Math undergrad and then went into IT. Long ago enough that it was the route to that sector of the workforce at the time. Still love reading new developments as they make it into the mainstream news, but I'm not up on the math needed to really delve into it and understand all the nuances.

You are right however - from math comes....everything. Some say the universe is simply a physical expression of timeless, universal, mathematical truths. I like that one especially.

Anything male, traditional, or conservative is labeled as hateful, violent and intolerant, as they try to get me fired or spread rumors about me. Good night they're positively rabid and xenophobic about coming into contact with any line of reasoning that differs from their own --and in college where they are supposed to learn how to think.
