the big thing here is it's all just asset price inflation.
the gov keeps giving the QE to their rich buddies instead of normal joe. this allows them to keep issuing bonds with additional backing, but because normal joe doesn't see a dime, it's not actually causing consumer price inflation.
instead, those rich buddies keep buying up assets... real estate, crypto, securities. that's why the asset price index is through the fucking roof, tacking to the QE issuance curve almost perfectly.
if they keep this up, if you don't own a nice house, the likelihood you can ever afford a nice house will be virtually zero.

I've been fortunate enough to pay off my house already, and my lifestyle isn't extravagant. So I'm hoping to get to the point where I can earn enough interest to keep me going without my 9-5 gig.
Then I can just piddle around on my farm, travel occasionally, and enjoy my time. Maybe I'll discover a way to make a little extra cash as well, without sitting in my office for the rest of my days.

I've had it 4 times now... some random girl tries to squeeze herself into our group cos she wants a piece of my mate(they all want a piece of my mate), spouting how shes a model on X, shes got X amount of money and X car, shes this, shes that, shes the other... funnily enough, my mate has a major soft spot for extremely feminine verging on traditional women... these "model" types disgust him and in a kind of perverse way, it's really funny watching these arrogant, bitchy girls getting taken down a few pegs and having their night completely ruined in the most polite, respectful and eloquent way...
girls in general do not take rejection very well at all because they've already built an unrealistic fantasy model of what is going to happen in any given situation and when it doesnt, their world crumbles around them because it's completely based on feelings, not facts... facts hurt, apparently...

Why am I downvoted? It's a regular job. Obviously not every girl who says she is an instagram "model" truly is one, but still. It's a real thing. Companies/brands pay them to show their stuff to their followers. I would call it advertising not modeling, but it's still a real job like any other.

what are you talking about? I just said that if a person gets paid by companies that advertise products or clothing , and it's done on instagram, it's modelling. Just it.
Someone liked the way sombody look, they want that person to wear their things, or to take a picture in a specific place to promote something, it's modeling.
A guy that play games isn't doing anything even close to what a real soldier does because he just sits in front of a computer/console eating snacks.
Another example would be people who play paintball or ASG in real life. It's still far from what real soldier does, but at least they get up off the couch and run around, get dirty in mud and socialise with other players. Peace
