Quick update for those of you who read my previous thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/a2eqno/the_only_thing_worse_than_realizing_youre_a_simp/

The ex moved out last Friday. She told me she was moving out on Saturday, but when I got home from work Friday night all of her stuff was gone. Some of my stuff was gone, too, but nothing I'll miss. Not sure why she lied about when she was moving out... Maybe it was to make things less awkward. Maybe it was so she could steal some of my stuff while I wasn't around. Maybe she just had to get one more lie in before she hit the road. Who knows? At any rate, there was minimal drama and damage, and for that I am thankful.

I got a couple of texts from her over the weekend. She was having trouble assembling some furniture she bought and was wondering if I would come over and help her. Looks likes the whole "strong, independent woman" thing lasted about 8 hours. I ignored the texts.

I got a text from her on New Year's Eve wishing me a Happy New Year and wondering if I had any plans. I ignored it.

I had a few missed calls from her on New Year's Day. I ignored them.

Got a text from her this morning asking if I was ignoring her. I ignored it too.

I know it's been less than a week, but I can't even begin to explain how much better I feel now that she's out of the house. I feel lighter. I'm sleeping like a baby. I've been doing a little redecorating. My entire house is becoming a man cave. I turned the family room into a large roomscale virtual reality arcade. I turned her "office" into a music studio (Ok, so it's just 2 guitars and the world's smallest amp, but it's still MY music studio). I've taken back control of my house and it feels amazing.
