Honestly there is no saving America really. Civil War and/or Balkanization is inevitable.
To really save America as you know it we would need to rid all institutions of Marxists and replace the current voting system with responsibiltism. Only those registered for the draft and veterans can vote for President. Net tax payers can vote for congress.
Not either of those then you can’t vote. Too bad so sad.

I understand it’s not “fair” but when everyone is allowed to vote the mob with their blind idealism gets too much of a say. I only want rational people with a stake in society allowed to vote.
Your average person has no logical concept of business, economics or war. Not trying to act like I am the authority on all those subjects but if the lockdowns have taught me anything it’s that most people have no clue how the economy and money work.

Not to insult the intelligence of the founding fathers of plato because they were extremely intelligent but I am not one to believe that any person or group of people are incapable of being wrong. Two people can have equal access to education and come out completely differently. Ever since the widespread use of the internet, education and information has been available to all than ever before but degeneracy continues to prevail. I only bring this up to suggest that stupid people will always exist regardless of what efforts are made toward the opposite. The burden of knowledge always falls on the individual and no efforts of good will can change that.
On top of that, who's going to pay for a miraculous higher standard of quality? What happens with those who show the inability to keep up? What about if someone doesn't need or want an education beyond a middle school level?
Pro choice should apply to more topics if you ask me.
But what is so bad about tying rights to responsibility? Commit certain crimes and you cannot vote, so why not put a prerequisite that prove your stake in the system? One way or another people should need to prove they earned a right through responsibility. It's no different to the core behind "my body, my choice" ideal. How can someone make a decision on something they made no real effort to be part of? Imagine telling a CEO how to run a company as a Joe from another industry, Joe has no business being there. So why do we treat something as serious as voting for a country differently? How is that not indicative of a potentially larger problem of standards and why they don't apply at that level?

I believe that all of age American citizens should have the right to vote simply for being an American citizen.
I honestly think of any American who has no stake in politics. For one example politics form the laws that citizens are to live by. These laws define what people are allowed to do and as such have an effect on everyone who must abide by them.

Civil war is pretty much impossible. The one thing that defines civil wars is geography. But when you live in an apartment or neighborhood and there are 3+ different viewpoints per floor/block, it simply does not work out. Same with the yahoos who have been screaming "race war". Even on a racial line, viewpoints are not homogenous.
Balkanization? Oh yeah. This is likely.

Because the president is the Chief of command thus those who would be sent to war or have served and understand what’s at stake should have the most say.

The only way this would work is if all men collectively decided to stop everything and demand reform. We would literally have to go into the streets, possibly fight in order to repeal the 19th, establish a soft patriarchy which would then lead to a regular patriarchy like we've seen in the past. Until then, just won't happen. You have too many guys who are on the wrong side and will literally defend whamens right to vote to the death because white knights are a very real thing, let's not forget. It's a myriad of problems that are standing in the way and I think for the most part we are past the point of no return.
