Get over yourself. I too am a physician and if there is one thing I can say about physicians is that we have a huge sense of entitlement. We think that because we sacrificed to get through med school that the world owes us respect. We think that they are superior to just about everyone else because we treat sick people. Guess what, you are no different from a mechanic or an electrician. You learned a skill and that is all. You are just a glorified technician, so stop acting like anyone owes you any more respect than they owe their plumber. Hell, my plumber makes more per hour than I do and I happily pay it because he provides basic clean drinking water and sanitation. Both are prereqs for what you and I do, so he's more important to health and well-being than I can ever hope to be.
