Well, I guess I'll post a pic of my bike as well. Love my bike and its a lot of fun. Getting ready to graduate to a 600cc at some point this summer. All I can say about riding is that it is true freedom. Its just you and and road (Riding with a buddy is awesome too). I just ride in a random direction and get lost. Then I GPS myself back home. And every time its an adventure, and I always come back home with a smile on my face. I love it.

Been a rider since 17 yrs old, about 40 yrs now, my ride is a GL1800 Goldwing, started from the bottom and worked up, like most should. Would not give it up but always gotta watch your six as drivers are too distracted these days. Wear your safety gear and be smart when riding is all I have to say. If you want to race take it to a track and practice/play there.

I wasn't keen on the look of the SV when I first saw it, but they've sorta grown on me. I'm a cruiser bro myself ('03 VL800 Volusia) but have been thinking about something a bit sportier to add to the garage later on, like a CBR or R6.

Just spent 4 hours at the DMV getting my endorsement put on my license ... it sure hasn't felt like "freedom" so far! LOL

I remember riding with a new guy once. He asked where we were going and I said, "Young bikers pick a destination and go... old bikers pick a direction and go". GPS is sure useful for getting home though. Riding is truly one of the great reminders that it is the journey that matters, not the destination.

Man, that looks like a back ache to ride. Do you get tight and sore muscles after a long ride? I've got a virago 650 and it's a comfortable ride, but I still get a stiff back and shoulders after a long ride.

Hiking, bicycling, off-roading, and plain old driving are just as freeing (if not more so) than a motorcycle.
