A buddy of mine has really been struggling since a breakup just a few months ago. I see a lot of myself in him. Good friend of mine, former co-worker. I trained him up to take my old position and tried to set him up right, even recommended him to my managers to take my old spot. But now he's going through the same shit I went through last year. Got his heart ripped out through his asshole and now he's drinking, making shitty decisions, not showing up at work and spending most of his time whoremongering. Last night he was talking about buying a gun or trying to score heroin. I've been trying to keep him away from the ledge but there's only so much that I can do.

It angers me right to fuck to think of how modern women do these men. I guarantee you Ariana Grande grinned like a fucking possum when she heard the news that this young man had died. I considered suicide for many months after I went through the same thing. I wanted my ex to come into the house and see my brains all over the wall. Then I started to think, that's exactly what she wanted. She loved to cause strife and misery, almost even got off on it I bet. I bet she would have been so happy for me to kill myself over her. I decided I wasn't going to give her the satisfaction. I began to fight. And I'm still fucking fighting. My life still isn't great but it's gotten a damn sight better since that dark time. I wish men would believe me when I tell them it gets better.

I'll keep trying to help my friend. He was there for me in my darkest hour, and you better god damned believe I'm gonna be there for him. I'm gonna try to get through to him any way that I can. I'm tired of good men dying young over these sadistic fucking broads who think they can play with a man's emotions and minds without consequence or remorse. I'm fucking sick of it. If my friend does tell me that he went and bought a gun, I'm gonna call the police to go check on him. He might hate me for it but one day he'll be glad that I did.

Remember men, if you're struggling right now, it DOES get better. It might not seem like it and the nights may seem endless and the darkness deeper than ever. But it DOES get better. Remember that. I listen to this band called "We came as romans" it's a pretty cookie cutter, post hardcore band. Fun music but at the end of the day its musical junk food. The lead singer died of an OD a couple of weeks ago at age 28.

Even though I liked his music and in my opinion he wrote more meaningful lyrics than Mac did I still think he was a dumb kid that did drugs.

There is nothing wrong with smoking some weed, maybe some mushrooms too but when you start shooting heroine or taking handfuls of Xans and Vikes I'll have no sympathy when you die.
