My ex likes to text me that I am trash every so often.

A couple days ago I saw her driving home in the early morning from the other guys place, ... She saw me and when she realized I saw her she started crying.

I was going say why not block her number but it seems you both have some kind of weird banter to keep yourselves amused lol

Most police departments in the US allow you to put in police reports online for records purposes, rather than active investigation. Every time she texted me, I'd put in a police report for harassment. Screen shot it, with your reply saying something like "Do not text me again, this is harassment." attach it to the report and submit it.

It will make it super easy to get a restraining order if you ever have to as well as help the next man she harasses. If she gets pulled over, these reports show up when they run her DL and name lol.

It’s very liberating to realize you don’t care any more. No love, hate, anger, animosity over an ex. Just indifference, and moving on with your own life where you are the centre.

My ex is the same (6 years split and still full of anger and hate). I actually “feel bad” for her (by that I mean I recognize how terrible her life must be) being trapped in all that angst and hate. I actually pity her while at the same time not caring one way or the other.
