The economy is nowhere near what it was when baby boomers were heading into adulthood. People would be living on their own and getting married at 20 if they could graduate high school, land a job that had huge upward mobility and job stability with a solid starting pay. Furthermore, vehicles and housing was much cheaper, and college degrees were easily attainable without going into debt.

WTF is this article on about? Baby boomers had it fucking easy. Mom and dad survived the wars, were heroes, shit was cheap enough for mom to stay home all day.

Now? Most entry level jobs pay marginally more than they did back then, but everything is vastly more expensive. College is ridiculous and a lot of careers require it, regardless if you need it. Most careers only have upward mobility for a select few people. The rest of you have to go to a different company to move up. I'm in IT. The only way I'm getting a bigger paycheck is to get hired somewhere else. My company won't give me a significant payraise...and I'm talking 4-5% being significant. Meanwhile, they go on and on about record quarters....I'm sure the CEO and board members got more than a 2% raise...

Anyway, you can't compare these two. MGTOW is irrelevant here, this is all about economy.

Not really sure this is MGTOW material. Millennials (as a whole) have literally been fucked by the system. Baby boomers are the ones running the show right now and are making terrible short term choices for personal gain. college costs are absolutely insane with almost not guarantee of a job after college. men are getting screwed of jobs due to quota systems. etc

What i WILL say, is that there is a good percentage of men who are getting away from the reservation.

its simple. young women have and are squandering their sexuality and sexual value by giving it away and riding the cc.

in return their virtue is not a sought after commodity. in days of old men would be motivated to work hard and build a nest for a special female because she saved her eggs and virtue to start a family. if she has given this away for free it then takes away mans motivation to build a nest for her. simple as that

added to that we removed the stigma of women having many lovers and sleeping arund. in days of old other men would not take a bride that has been sleeping around they understood that value of not having a used up female. now beta men and chads do not care and will sleep and take these women as brides. a man valued his nest and resources more then to take a bird in who will likely cheat on him.

There is no reason to nest for modern women. too much effort and resources to create a nest for a shitty return.

I choose to still live with my dad. A big reason is because of the economy, but I also take care of my dad(he's recently divorced and has a mental illness). Hell, it is only recent that unmarried young adults would live on their own. I'm happy with my set up.
