Feel a little embarrassed asking this, but what is the proper way of "taking care of yourself", I just eat good, exercise and often put some lotion on my face and arms, I'm not sure if that's enough.

Mental health also... mindset... this will set you up for a life of personal fulfillment... staying as fit as you can with exercise part of your lifestyle everyday, clean foods, and financially intelligent with the goal of first creating a 6 month living expenses savings, and then eventually having fu money... as the others have said, strong network of high character people and really respect and honor yourself as a person- boundaries, etc

This is a large component imo. If you feel like an old and crusty dude your whole life, you’ll probably age much faster than someone who has a calm, go-with-it attitude. Inner peace is critical. Otherwise you fight yourself every day, and become stiff and tired through this.

I would say to take care of yourself as a mgtow is to invest in your personal interests ... Cultivating a healthy lifestyle, exercise, hobbies, self improvement etc. Don't forget to spoil urself once in a while by buying yourself gifts. Don't spend ur money on a financial dependency (a. K. a women)

Find out your ideal weight according to your height (https://www.calculator.net/ideal-weight-calculator.html), and never exceed it by more than 30 pounds, a lot less if possible. Take up meditation (call it a hobby if necessary), or if you absolutely cannot stand it, do Tai Chi Chuan, or Chi-kung. Get an acupuncture 'tune-up' every couple months, or buy one of these (https://www.sourceortho.net/body-sport-two-speed-professional-massager/), and find a masseur to use it on you. Get a superb bed and enough sleep. When nature calls, answer, and never put it 'on hold'. Take a one-a-day vitamin. Get dental insurance, and take care of your teeth.

Sounds about right to me.
I'd do without the lotion (I've heard lotions cause your skin to dry and crack, forcing you to use more lotion, which is a classic marketing technique), but when you take care of yourself physically, then your emotional and spiritual health will improve.

You do see the odd exception to the rule. I've fucked a few MILF escorts who had killer looks. Just a few months ago i saw this girl a year or two younger than me who i had a thing for as a young man. She was the eldest sister of my sisters best friend. She looks DISGUSTING. Like a fucking corpse. I couldn't believe it.
I'm probably one of those men who will not age well. I have low testosterone as well and i struggle to function as a man these days but i kind of like it because thinking about women and sex is toxic. I think shift work has taken its toll on my health and some of the jobs i did were pretty gnarly. I guess i can live with it though.

Assuming they take care of themselves, women can age well too. The difference is that don't they really have to due to having so many options. Men aging like fine wine is a mgtow myth. If you have 1 in 1000 genetics and take care of yourself, then yeah, you'll probably age well but still look worse than before 30. Everyone does, there is no exception to this.

This makes me think of my ex. I almost married her. One day while I was at a jewelry store she legit called me and picked a fight that I was never going to propose. I left. A few months of on and off again relationship status. One day she accidentally showed me some topless photos of her, claimed they were photos for me. I left and never spoke to her again. A few months later I heard she was engaged. A few months after that she started sending me texts about how much she regretted the way she treated me and she wanted to get back together if I’d buy her a ring. I never responded. My wife is in her thirties, divorcing me because I got better after a long depression and pushed for marriage counseling. She went from "I don't love you" to "I want a divorce" to "you're abusive" to having the sheriff give me 15 minutes to vacate. Listen to me kids, MGTOW is the only way.
