I took the opportunity to check out a few of the links on why men don't want to get married. One of the articles was posted on the Muffington Post, surprisingly, but it was written by forensic psychologist Dr. Helen Smith (Yes, a woman). She makes some very fine points I'll list here. She goes into details in the article but bullet point the first 7 then end on 8.

I wonder if the tide is truly turning. Most men seem very blue pill. They are upset at the treatment, but they won't put their foot down and stand up for themselves. Since women have unlimited options, trying is pointless. Mgtow is the only way and most guys don't seem to have the inner strength to find fulfillment in something other than marriage.

I think there is a slight bias among st MGTOW men because their average age is around 40. That's when the divorce really starts to cost them big time as the kids get older and need more stuff.

This age coincides with a dip in Testosterone and thus a dip in desire for sex and women. I don't think the MGTOW movement has any effect on young men in their 20s or their desire of sex and women. Except for bottom end of the desirability bell curve aka Incels which is statistically a tiny percentage.

Moreover, I don't believe young men are on google searching a phrase that is limiting their youthful exuberance. Their attitude is more likely to be like, "Why can't men be successfully married?" as opposed to "Why don't men want to be married anymore" which signals REGRET of a PAST MISTAKE, something that only comes with age.

Apart from that slight bias, you guys all make good points.

The more value a man has, the less reason he has to get married. That's the problem with the system from a woman's perspective. They want top quality to join a system that benefits low quality. Until they fix that (mandatory prenups that can't be voided), then they will have to settle for the betas.

Maybe these search results came from nymphomaniacs? I'm sure there are relationships where the woman is obsessed with constant sex and weird sex (BDSM / Choke-Fuck Orgasms / Anal Fisting) and men won't do it.

I always compare both sides to see if something is worth..... pretty much getting married is like playing inverted russian rulette (only one empty chamber) but you also have to pull the trigger at least 5 times. Ohhh and in the end you have to give all of the things you love before.
