Yes it certainly was. The comedian who always had a smile on his face. I've read articles about this guy always keeping a positive attitude. Well it appears that he really didn't have such a positive attitude as was thought. He was overwhelmed with $ problems, and what you just mentioned was probably the worst of those financial issues. Can you believe there are actually people that try to blame "It was just depression, lol" - Yeah, that's the outcome... I get so pissed off when people don't look at the factors of outcomes. No one ever asks "Why was he depressed?" and if they do, they just say "He had no money, lol" - ANOTHER outcome! WHY. DID. HE. HAVE. NO. MONEY? So the autopsy revealed that he was literally going insane from Lewy Body Disease. Extreme paranoia, from knowing that he was losing his mind, to excess insomnia, which also is very unhealthy.

I think that in this case, the inability of doctors to treat his condition (they originally diagnosed him with Parkinson) is what did him in.

I think he would have been able to handle the unjust divorce settlements had he not been severely ill.

wrong, for sure his brain condition began to act out, and he was literally a shell of who he used to be. that type of terminal inevitability, you'd kill yourself too.

BUT, even though it was not a contributing factor to his actual suicide date, I can guarantee it made his last 5 years full of suffering. anyone who saw his acting the last years of his life could see it. he was working to pay his exes, and he got married again. great guy but he does come off as a super cuck and he was. When he died he was doing some loser b-level tv show for pennies. can you imagine being one of the best comics of all time who also is one of the best actors of all time and you have to work tv shit jobs just to keep going. fucking hell. he deserved better. I can never find it but i remember seeing a video by a good friend of his who documents his personal conversations with Robin about his alimony payments. I think all of the family court drama business really stressed him out alot and though I'm sure he would've gotten sick, i wouldn't be surprised if the stress of it all exacerbated his illness to onset earlier. he took his life because his brain was egg pudding and he started having behavioral issues, but so much of his ease and last days and stress were greatly effected by his alimony payments.
