While this is a comedy skit, one thing I picked up from this is that women want to “have their cake, and eat it too.” They want to get paid by working in addition to get paid by their husbands: allowance (ex husbands: child support/alimony) and/or still have the benefits of going out on a date and not having to pick up their share of the tab.
