Apart from 3 and 6 I do all of that. I never knew eating 3 times a day is bad and I usualy enjoy myself some pork steaks with rice. Bad habits, maybe ? But not the worst !

He gives some good advice, although what works for him doesn't work for others. For instance, giving up alcohol and red meat, which there's people who will stay healthy throughout their lives and still consume these products. And I'll say this, I call bullshit on him not consuming any "addictive" stuff.

This guy just made a list with no concerns whatsoever for actual human health standards. As a certified, licensed, and practicing pro in this field for the last 16 years, I just can't let this shit slide. Let me correct some of his issues for the men here:

#1: He's actually dead right about this. Although you don't have to cut it out completely, people that even drink frequently enough that its 1 shot and 1 beer per day will look markedly older on average than their real age. We always rag on the feminists for doing this during their CC days. It makes them age 2 decades in 2 years. You're all still clearly free to drink as you please, but you don't get the age-slowing benefits of those that don't and have to accept that reality.

#2: I don't know about this one. Most of the people I know in this industry do not sleep anywhere near what he's advocating for. Its not too out of place for top pros to sleep only 5-6 hours a day and they aren't aging any faster. I think what he's actually trying to go for here is to speak to the working class who tend to forego sleep during the week when their work forces them to be too short on sleep for a night or two.

#3: Absolutely not. I actually don't advocate for the 3 meals a day thing either, but its not a "You really shouldn't!" scenario and is much more of a personal preference thing based on my training levels. I basically eat snacks and 3 "slightly larger snacks" that sort of are where the 3 traditional meals are at. There's no real schedule to it anymore and I just kind of eat whenever I need to.

He's addressing the fact that the vast majority of Americans are overweight and eat way too much and of the wrong things. I still think he should properly educate people on that their eating should directly correlate to how hard they physically are training/working per day. If you sit at a desk, 2k calories a day is probably more than enough. If you work outside construction, better pump that up to 4k at least. This isn't a good way to address the fact most people just have shitty diets and don't assess themselves properly at all because there are people on the other side of the fence who need to up their caloric intakes to match their increased metabolism.

#4: He's right about this one. Regular moderate exercise is a key factor. You can do heavy building, but it shouldn't consist of most of what you do. The massive bodybuilding types always look old as fuck in their 20s-30s because of the strain they put themselves under.

#5: True and correlates with what I know/practice. Nothing more to say.

#6: Another one that's absolutely wrong. Far-East Asians are KNOWN to have genetics that allow them to look younger than they actually are for decades and no matter what far-east nation you go to, the traditional foods are majority meat dishes. Beef/Pork/Chicken/Fish are life to Asia and likely this kind of diet actually helped create these genetics over time.

Again, I think he's trying to speak to the general masses of Americans who pile on red meats every day without thinking. These are the types who get high blood pressure and die of heart conditions in their 40s and 50s because they eat it 100x or more frequently than the rest of us. I love those types of meat as much as the next guy, but I don't eat steak literally every day.

This is more about just having a generally balanced diet. Any fool eating that much has to know its going to affect them adversely. It might not kill them and it used to be a free country (pretty sure not anymore), so as an advocate of older culture, I say you're free to say "fuck it", but just know it does carry certain risks.

This Durov's list is more like him trying to just push one side instead of actually explaining the whole process behind his reasoning and thinking.

#7: I think we all know this one is right. MGTOW always lessens stress which is always a factor in the rate of aging.

The alcohol point is key.

I'm far from being a raging alcoholic, with that said I also noticed that alcohol is way harder to process as I'm in my mid-thirties. I am slowly taking it out of my diet, and I'm going to attempt to fully take it out of my diet. At the very least limiting my alcohol consumption to maybe once or twice a month, at very minimal levels.

Spending so much time alone and independent has helped me to burrow down into some of the insecurities that push me toward bad dietary habits. And waking up with a hangover after drinking one beer makes you realize - what is the intention behind drinking even one beer if you know it's going to lead to a hangover?

If no or little value remains in what you were doing, why do it at all?

Now that is the definition of going your own way.

I would also add three more things: regular cold showers, fasting (to initiate autophagy), and digest some resveratrol regularly. this is what I learned after reading a book from one of the most well known anti-aging experts out there.

I can attest that losing the genetic lottery certainly doesn't help your case either lol, at 18 I looked 25-30 and was buying booze without even getting ID'd for me and my friends, and now at 23 I look 35-40. The alcohol and stress from joining the military certainly didn't help but there are factors out of your control that contribute to looking older.

Two things....

Can definitely vouch for 'no alcohol.' I quit drinking and had zero drops since start of the pandemic. While i have my issues, my body is feeling incredible -- better than it has since teenage years, my hormones are finally coming back into balance. That said, alcohol and fat in general will REALLY fuck up your test levels, it sure did mine. Anyone who says it doesn't is lying and just doesn't wanna admit it. I'm still going to drink, but i am trying to go dry for as long as i can because i'm loving how i feel, especially when working out.

The only bullshit in this is the "don't eat meat" part. What a big jump to go from 'farmed red meat' to 'don't eat meat' .. wtf. That is borderline vegan feminist logic.

Personally, i'd say "limit" red meat intake, since its harder for some people to process than other meats. Also, buy the organic grass fed stuff -- basically, either buy the top dollar lean stuff or just don't fucking buy it at all. Really though this should apply to ALL food you ingest. Ever since i dropped alcohol and fixed my diet i have started looking at food as fuel... buying high quality food (the highest you can afford) is one of the BEST investments for your health. Eat healthy NOW, so you can avoid obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hyperglycemia, etc. later.

Also if possible stop masturbating, stop the porn, stop the tinder/dating shit, the urge is hard real hard. But once you are able to stop rubbing one off naturally for few years, that's the day you have ascended to enlighten state.

I've been into no fap for months, did a fap and it felt good but felt something gonna snow ball if i kept doing it. Did continue steady daily fap as a self research and it did showed me that it's very detrimental to overall focus and mood as opposed to steady no fap state. I did looked like shit.
