This is more of a millennial / Selfie Culture image than a MGTOW image.

I don't date women who use Snapchat or post / take selfies or send me nude photos with their crappy 1 megapixel front-facing cameras.

If you want to take a photo, here's my SLR and we can post it to Flickr or some other self-respecting image host or save it locally to our computer and at least have proper lighting.

Facebook likes are not a currency in my relationships. I live a much happier existence because of it. if your validation is paid for in likes & reposts, you're going to have a tough time going your own way.

A girlfriend of a friend of mine awkwardly takes 2-3 DOZEN selfies of herself every time we're out. We're at a bar talking and conversing and she steps away and in front of a rock-poster and starts taking photos of her self. Everyone at the bar is staring all confused and she's in another world. I don't understand it and I'm only 29. I also don't have a Facebook so maybe there's some new app I'm not privy to.

I see this all the time with young girls here in Europe. Young horny kids take them to McDonalds or Starbucks, and the whole time, the girl is looking at her phone and not paying attetion to what the young guy is saying. Thats what you get for being a thirsty and horny moFo.

At the risk of sounding cynical, crusty, and get-off-my-lawnish: the only word I can find that matches my feelings on the selfie phenomena is abomination. Narcissism is a mental state of delusion and abnormal dopaminergic reward, yet it is one that is extremely valuable to marketers and political propagandists (alongside fear and uncertainty). It is truly a plague upon mankind.
