Seen a few attempts at gatekeeping today (not you I agree with your points). There seems to be some hostility towards some of those who haven't had relationships, or are to young to have had anything. I have had girlfriends and they haven't benefited me in any way, but the opposite and set me back. No one should pressure them to start relationships. If they want to be mgtow then they can do it.

MGTOW is a philosophy not a rulebook. Every Philosophy has guidelines but not rules. If you follow them or not is up to YOU as individual.

Do everything for YOURSELF not others.
Don't hate Women for what they are. Accept they are not what you believed they are.
The Law is against men. Marriage and Relationships will ruin you.
If you want sex pump and dump. Safer Sex take the condom with you or use tabasco sauce in the condom to deny self insemnation.
Don't help Women. You could end up in jail. We warned you.
Women can not love a man. If so they would not publicy shame him or take away his kids to hurt him emotional and her own children as well in the process.
Get in shape. A healthy body will bring a healthy mind and vice versa.
Start new hobbies and fulfill your dreams. Men build everything you see and use. We can do everything we put our mind into.
Don't chase women. The juice aint worth the squeeze. You will be burned in the process.
Ignore everything i said and go your own way. Its YOUR Life and YOU decide where YOUR WAY lead you to.

Man they gotta try and pin that one on us. I even saw on MGTOW2 sub they don't allow nazis in the sidebar? My thought was whut? I mean ok..sounds reasonable I'm no friend of nazis but why are they singled out?

I cannot say I have never read anything in this sub that was racist, but it is rare. I am sure I have never seen anything nazi related. So why ban something which isn't likely to come up? Sound like PC nonsense to me.

But anyway I always thought MGTOW is the best place for men of all races to bond together. Take women out of the picture and men will do fine together.

Privately, individually, mgtow is whatever you want it to be.

Publicly though, mgtow is whatever the loudest, most frequent and angry voices say it is - that's what anyone outside the sphere sees.

But then, if mgtow cared what the public thought, they wouldn't be mgtow.

I try not to resent women, but many of the stories here have direct hits on my history as I become aware of it.

I do actively contemplate every day about what I did, what went right, what went wrong, how it could've gone different, and if I learned anything.

What I learn every day is my life appears to be more manageable while being single.

To me, it's just a new age term for bachelor. A man who rejects marriage, co-habitation, and fatherhood. A man who breaks the stigma around doing things solo, like eating at restaurants, going to the movies, or travelling. (Doing these things alone is VERY underrated). A man who has a true sanctuary, his home, and is free to do what he wants without criticism or eye rolls. If he wants to play Madden, he will do it. If he wants to read sophisticated works of literature, he will do it. If he wants to crush cans of Budweiser, he will do it. If he wants to sip a decades-old scotch, he will do it.

I pretty much agree with everything you said.

However one thing about MGTOW is that we tend to be more individualistic than the average person (Average people generally tend to accept the cultural zeitgeist, and that's exactly what an MGTOW has chosen NOT to do) so within our ranks there's a lot of individual variation.

I often notice people stressing that MGTOW is not a movement. While I agree, what makes a "movement"? I guess it's having recognised leaders; and I'm not really sure if MGTOW does or not because once again I'm not much of a follower and so probably are most MGTOW.

Will it ever BECOME a movement?

Yes, I think that's possible in the future.
