I get that constantly, sereiously, ever since I turned 30, I have been getting this questions and responses all the time. My Family's the worst at it but I get it from strangers too.

The other day I was taking a taxi and the cab driver was complaining how his wife is getting fatter and she's lazy and doesnt work and he's working two jobs, and that because of her the kids are fat and lazy and useless..and we were both having a good laugh, like I didn't mind him blowing out some steam.

Then it's when I said out loud: "Yeah, this is never going to happen to me" and he was shocked "You ain't married? why not?"

"What do you mean why not? did you just listen to yourself the past 20 min?"

I told my brother that I was going to get a vasectomy (he has 4 kids, I have zero). He told me it's a bad idea, so I explained how I don't want an accidental pregnancy. I have no science to back this up. But I think that somehow these people have no lives, no reason to live, no imagination to create their own happiness or activity, so they seek it through the thing everybody's doing/done for decades: marriage. They suck up with all the negativity and drama because being married and having kids gives them a reason to live, a reason to get out of bed every single morning. And they kind of like the drama too, because it gives them something to talk about to other people or even complete strangers, a reason to (force) interact or relate, and have just something happening in their lives.

They're kind of like women I guess. Probably why divorce rates are so high: women don't like men who act like women, to create more drama to talk about, and to relate because everybody's doing it.

When someone asks me about my life i just don't mention my relationship issues as they are extensive. If a good friend asks about my ex and I, I usually just say "still shit" and move on.

Whining about stuff gets you nowhere and no one likes to hear it. Mentioning struggles productively can be beneficial I.e. My ex bounced to Europe to i am still adjusting to being a full time single dad.

I think it is because society has no other acceptable route for men other than, school, then work, then have kids, then be and ATM machine. It is so ingrained, that a lot of men see no other way to live an acceptable life. This is true if you base your life around what society tells you. If you never are able to step back and realize "society" means women and men are expendable and only useful for resources.

You're not going to like this, but the answer is, just like women enjoy being mothers even though it ruins their bodies and takes all their time and energy/often prevents them from having other partners (not all single moms hoe around, just a large percentage, just like not all males are criminals, just a significant percentage), just like all that; Men enjoy taking care of and doing things for women.

The idea that men only want to be around women for sex is false. Sex is the culmination of interaction with women, not the beginning. Everything that leads up to it is immensely pleasurable for the male. That's why you see guys at the mall holding purses, shopping, doing laundry. Men are programmed to feel pleasure in the mere presence of women. Unless you acknowledge this fact, your MGTOW journey will be shrouded in ignorance, i.e. the OP.

TL;DR: Just like how just because parents complain about their kids doesn't mean they want to kill them/get rid of them, men too complain about women that they love and adore. Its part of the territory. Allowing someone to annoy you without doing anything about it is a method of showing affection.
