It's because women are playthings, or you could even say slaves, of their own emotions. They're like kids in this regard. What primarily drives them isn't rational, long-term thought and reflection but how they feel in the moment.

To a thinking man, that can often appear random or unreasonable, while it makes complete sense to the woman, because that's just how she feels right then and there.

Lack of adversity means even small things seem much bigger. You see guys who have been to war come back and freak out over small shit like a check engine light being on? Fuck no they saw their friends come home in body bags. Technically having any emotion is overreacting since emotion isnt logical, you just learn it in a certain situation, therefore not the logical reaction. And since women have emotion in control of logic theres alot more emotion hence more overreaction. If you want to take it a step further emotions increase in strength through repetition. So since women constantly feel a fuckton of emotions due to emotion in control they repeat them more hence strengthen them more

Lack of imagination? It's more like too much imagination, and not in a creative way either. Imaginary cheating by husband. Imaginary soul mate in dating. Imaginary idealistic world where their wet gash is special and unique, and needs offerings of jewelry or whatever to satiate.

Basicly, you are looking at a problem as a logical being, not one of feelings. Next time a woman doesn't get what she wants wait for and watch her reaction. When the confusion sets it. You will notice the change. It's said that people can have multiple personalities. Wait and watch which one comes out. If they aren't on pills there could be blood so stand back. Anxiety attack is another great one. Hissy fit. Hysterical crying. Yelling and shouting. The foot stomp dance. Now watch a toddler say around 2-3 years old and notice the similarities.

Most men I know will find a way to deal with the problem. Most women simply can't.
