Actually there is one case I know of a woman who married down and it is so bizarre to see. (Friends of the family)

Back in my home town this woman got her PhD in the medical field and she’s a doctor making ~$350,000 a year, and she married a dude who was unemployed and living off welfare. She goes to work and he’s a stay at home husband in their beautiful home, and they have 1-2 kids that they raised (kids are adults by now). Dude just sits at home all day and does whatever he wants and doesn’t pay for anything at all. If you saw him at first glance, you’d think he was homeless honestly. Sounds like he’s living a good life to me lmao

I've met so many women in the past who had a perfectly good vehicle and refused to work because they had a "mental illness". And if they have a kid, they've pretty much got a free ride.

Not to say that mental illness isnt a serious issue, but can you imagine a guy trying to get on disability because of severe depression or bipolar disorder?

It's true. I know a guy that dated an attorney. She had a class action law firm in California and he had a career in tech in nyc. Her pay was irregular but it probably worked out to about $1.5 million a year, about 10x what he was making. Both were in their 40s,so she was well past the wall.

He'd fly to LA regularly to be with her. She seldom flew to NYC. I thought it was whacked out. One day their relationship just stopped. He told me that she had a superiority complex and after a few months it came to a head.

That didn't surprise me. I was surprise lasted as long as it did. She never took him seriously. I think she probably enjoyed the disparity in wealth and status until she tired of it.

Me, she lost me at "class. action attorney."

My ex was the worst for this. I thought I could trust her, I was naive. Everything I told her, her friends knew as well.

Worst instance was when I told her about how one of my close friend's girlfriends cheated on him while in another country and he broke up with her. 2 days later my ex had her birthday party in which one of her friends brought it up and then everyone was asking me about it.

I confronted her and she just said, "Oops" basically and it was at that moment I knew I would be breaking up with her very soon.

I know a girl in the family who's a pharmacist making 120k a year about to marry a simp fresh off the boat making around 60k as an engineer in NYC.
